Good show that was held back from being a great show because of typical by the numbers plays. World Heavyweight Money in the Back was good. I'd say great, but quite frankly, there were a ton of noticeable, avoidable botches. Tensai and Sin Cara seemed to be responsible for the vast majority. Tensai clearly had no business being in that match. Still, a good contest nontheless. Some really great spots - particularly out of the likes of Ziggler, Kidd, Rhodes, and Christian. Ziggler winning was, without a doubt, the highlight of the night. The only possible way I could sum it up is exactly as he did, "about damn time." I was a bit surprised by The Miz's announcement. I don't understand why this wasn't done on Monday to put some hype behind it. The Miz could have attacked at least someone in the match and set this up a bit better. It's little things like this that really held the show back. Sheamus/Del Rio was decent at best. I stand by my opinion from months ago that this match never should have been booked for a Pay-Per-View. WWE seemed cautious about it from day one, and I can't blame them for finally just pulling the trigger, but it was exactly what I expected it to be. A decent, TV quality match and a clean win for Sheamus. Nothing lost, nothing gained here. Primetime Players/Epico & Primo was good. AW does a fantastic job and he's really doing wonders for this team. I loved the stuff between he and Rosa. I really loved the post-match confrontation being them and Kofi/Truth. Breathes a bit of fire into the tag division. Let's just hope they keep this up. Again, though, why couldn't this match have been booked beforehand? There was plenty of bad blood simmering over last month's betrayal, this match had plenty of reason to be on Pay-Per-View, why not announce it? WWE Championship match was absolutely fantastic. Bryan and Punk were genuinely enjoying themselves, and they beat the living hell out of each other. Wonderfully paced, hard-hitting, fantastic story-telling. I could watch these two go at it every show. I though the AJ involvement was misguided, especially given how crucial she was to the storyline. Part of me liked that, because this match truly should have been about the WWE Championship, but at the same time, there was no development, not even a little bit. I'm not necessarily looking for answers, but I expected tonight to be a blow off in a way, given the likelihood that we're heading toward Punk/Cena. Just strange decision making. Ryback match was at least bit more competitive than usual, but still, absolutely no business being on Pay-Per-View. This is getting old. Pointless diva's match. The division is getting to be so neglected that I'm not sure they even pay attention to faces and heels anymore outside of a select few. I thought Natalya was a face now? She's always backstage on Smackdown in all of those throw away segments with the faces. Guess not. Regardless, the diva's division is at it's absolute worst right now, and it doesn't appear it's going to get any better. WWE Championship Money in the Bank was far better than I expected it to be. The Miz actually made a huge impact and, to me, made the match much more enjoyable. He and Jericho carried this one far and away. Jericho was on the top of his game tonight, and the crowd could tell. I was really hoping that because this main evented, we'd get a swerve finish, but alas, exactly what was expected. To me, that really dragged down the feel of the entire night. Overall, like a said, a really solid show that was hindered by some WWE-isms. Three unscheduled matches, and the WWE Championship not main eventing despite clearly being the most built/hyped match on the card really gets to me. Little things that are so simple to fix, but go completely ignored. Agreed with all of this tbh. - Ziggler winning was the highlight of the show for me - Sheamus vs ADR was blah - Punk vs Bryan was great, loved the finish, but where's the payoff with AJ? And why didn't this close the show... - Ryback and the Divas are in a tight race for who deserves a bigger piss break status - Loved Miz and Jericho in the Raw match, made that match for me as well

I don't think Cena was really meant to win the Raw MITB because if you saw his facial expression when he won he seemed really surprised as to a Yeah I won.

I really hope cena cashes in after a match and doesn't announce it ahead like RVD, because Cena is Cena and he can get a title match anytime he wants. Dolph Ziggler winning is cool would of prefer rhodes because he has technically never held the whc. Cena is going to probably cash it in at the 1000th episode by saying he will be facing the champ at wrestlemania. I bet cena won't even be carrying the case 50% of the time.

I hope Cena drops the Briefcase.... Just horrible to predictable. Hoping Jericho could have won...WOW. Thats just up-setting

I would imagine the actual finish of the match would have just been Cena knocking Show off of the ladder using the briefcase and then pulling it down. There may have been an additional 30 seconds or so of struggle, but I don't think anything else was planned. Kane never showed any sign of movement, and Jericho and Miz had clearly taken their final bumps. It was down to Show and Cena, and they couldn't have stayed up there forever. If anything, the botch was more enjoyable than having Cena just unhook it.

Another case of WWEs awful creative team being saved by the quality of wrestling. Another 4 weeks of AJ being shoved down our throats for another clean ending which doesn't advance the storyline in any way.

Also AW tonight was funny as hell, The crowd was also nuts for Jericho, Ziggler, Bryan & Punk and not too bad for Del Rio. Ziggler almost cashing in was great but hopefully he doesn't cash in too soon, After WM next year will be the right time.

I should also note: the Phoenix crowd was great tonight. Really added to the atmosphere, particularly for Punk/Bryan.
It's too bad they're heading to LA next month, the land of silence.

Both MITB matches were just ing great. Big Show's ladder looked like Xibit from Pimp my ride gave it to him for his birthday. Punk vs Byran was solid, great back & forth. Happy with it. Happy Cena since now we can see Punk attack Cena for making him feel like a paper champion. All in all, the matches I looked forward to delivered & RAW MITB was a very pleasant surprise. Happy I watched the PPV.

Im disappointed. The past MITB PPVs were quite good and has made it a PPV I order annually but tonight was not good. Several unadvertised filler matches for a starter. I get what they are doing with ryback but im sick to death of paying to see him squash people, its useless and severely affects the quality of the PPV just like adding the divas match. There were so many botches and really, aside from Ziggler winning and the WWE match (despite the rather confusing and non progressive ending) the rest of the night wasnt all that worth it. It appeared that Cenas win as botched and shouldnt have happenned as soon as it did. I disagree with the win and the fact he continues to make legitimate achievements look like a joke, but the overall standard of the MITB matches is severely down this year on previous ones. Several repeat elements are best commentated on as perhaps indicative of history repeating itself not blindly pretending they didnt happen before ie. giant ladder and ladder stackin that both happenned in 2010.
It wasnt a horrible PPV and it sure wasnt a great one but rather somewhere in the middle which is disappointing for MITB which had become a good reliable PPV.

I just saw pictures and wtf was Bryan wearing? Seemed a little odd. It was, actually. I'm not even sure what was on it. He had a matching coat as well.

The Smackdown Money in the Bank match started out so sloppy but then everyone managed to pull off what I would call a very exciting match. Loved some of those spots. Just wish they would have all been pulled off.
Happy Ziggler won.

Ziggler winning made my night, I would have been so freaking pissed if Ziggler lost when trying to cash in after all that work. I am excited to see what they are going to do with Ziggler now.
The ending was weird, I dont think that was suppose to happen, Jericho hanging on it like he did weakened the handle, I am sure Cena was suppose to win but not that soon

I thought the same thing... who knows what could have happened from there... big show could have been meant to win? Pretty damn funny the briefcase just broke off in his hands though... he just looked at it and was like ummm i won? very interesting where it goes from here if it was an accident he won

I really don't see why people are making such a big fuss about the briefcase, honestly.
There's no way in hell Big Show was meant to win. Cena was clearly winning the match, and the spot was set up just like the finish.
Again, Kane was down, and Jericho and Miz had clearly taken their final bumps.
At most, they probably had to cut a few more seconds of struggle between Cena and Big Show. Cena was wailing on Show with the briefcase. He more than likely would have fallen off after a few more shots, and Cena would have just unhooked it.
It's not like the match ended super early and they cut the show short. It went twenty one minutes, it was 10:45. We're talking seconds here.

As for Tonight's Raw it seems like no one whats going to happen. Its the final Raw before the big 1000th episode so i see the GM announcing Punk vs Bryan one last time for the WWE Title next week on Raw. I see Cena interrupting a Punk/Rock segment to announce that he is cashing in his MITB at SummerSlam against Punk but for tonight's Raw i see a big tag match ending the show (Punk/Cena/Kane vs Bryan/Jericho/Big Show).

Show could have come back and still won.. we won't really know if Cena was suppose to win until we see how it plays out. The look on his face was just like "whoops! i won" not selling the hard fought victory like he does... all of us have seen Cena win MANY MANY times and has he ever looked or acted like that after a victory? don't think so... so there is room to think he wasn't suppose to win.
