Several names come to mind: Orndorff. Rude. Perfect. Shamrock (well, he did pave the way for guys like Angle/Swagger)? I was actually watching a WWF title match between Shawn Michaels and Ken Shamrock earlier. Shamrock was NWA champion...although long after its linage lost its prestige. As for Hennig, I always include him and Martel in the "World Champion" category as personally I feel the AWA title could have and rightfully should be ranked right there with the WWF and NWA/WCW title in the 80s

DiBiase in 1988 as the heel champ would have been awesome.

I went with Scott Hall. I've always said they should have put the belt on Razor in '94 instead of Diesel. He was over big time and a much better worker than Nash.
