so what do you choose as HBKs best title match from after he became Champion at WM12 to the time he left after WM XIV.
I say AFTER he became champ so to exclude the Iron Man match.want people to think a bit harder about this one.
my pick is IYH:Good Friends Better Enemies.......absolutely excellent match IMO and one of Diesels finest hours on in WWF.plus the build was excellent......Michaels portrayal as the underdog who had little hope was great.
pity they couldnt repeat this(because of Michaels)for Vader.

I too picked In Your House: Good Friends Better Enemies.
Diesel's best match before was at Survivor Series 1995 against Bret Hart, but this match with Shawn Michaels has to be Diesel's best match ever in his career.
The ups and downs, the false finishes, the drama was just there for this match.
The only other two matches that come close to this match for Shawn are the matches he had with Mankind at Mind Games, and the match he had with Davey Boy at King of the Ring.

Picked IYH:DX against Shammy. My god what an awesome match, Shamrock was incredible, HBK was great at this point, both character and talent wise. A great wrestling match, with everything, and I've said it before, if Bret Hart had stayed, Shamrock would have been massive. Plus at the end, Owen's interference is insane, I swear he literally beats the crap out of Michaels, he's actually knocking his skull in, crazy.

His match with Mankind was incredible. Foley's best match, really enjoyable.

I went with IYH against Diesel, as it's my personal favorite. His match with Mankind is right there for me too. HBK was the only guy I ever thought Sid had good matches with honestly. I recommend all of those matches to anyone who hasn't seen them though, this was HBK on another level imo.

Clearly it was Vs. Bret Hart at Survivor Series 1997 But in all seriousness it has to be vs. Diesel at IYH: Good Friends, Better Enemies. Its the best match of Nash's career by far and was the first real "hardcore" match in WWE history. So without a doubt its that match.

My favorite is the match with Mankind. Even with a terrible finish, that match was still incredible. It's a shame we weren't able to get more matches between these two.

I agree with all these replies, but for me, Michaels performing with an injury at such a great level at WMXIV (a huge Wrestlemania for me) was nothing short of amazing, despite not retaining. Brilliant.

Mankind. But his match with Diesel is a VERY close second. Exactly how I feel about it, man when Shawn was champion his matches could do wrong. Just look at that list, save MAYBE for the Shamrock match and the Rumble '97 match with Sid, most of them are classic.

Definitely vs Mankind at Mind Games....amazing match, i've seen it countless times and never gets boring.
But HBK has had great matches as champ against Sid, Diesel, Bulldog, Shamrock and Vader.

Brilliant. Yeah definitely, I know he has had tons of great Mania moments, but his match with Austin is super entertaining and often over looked imo. If you take the injury into consideration it's really impressive what he was able to do. I can't watch that match without cringing though because he takes so many bumps right on his back and there is lots of stuff on the outside and it's just crazy, adrenaline I guess. The rivalry and the build up was great too, which also gets over looked. I know people are quick to say Austin vs Rock, this, that and the other, but Austin had his best matches with Bret and Shawn imo.
