I was jsut watching Survivor Series from 2000 and I couldn't help but notice that the card was stacked from top to bottom with one of the most star studded lineups I can remember seeing. I'm sure most of the PPVs from this time were like this but I jsut watched this one so it is fresh in my mind. There's huge mega stars, legitimate main eventers, some of the biggest tag teams ever, the top 2 womens wrestlers in my opinion, it pretty much had it all.
Stone Cold HHH The Rock The Undertaker Kurt Angle Chris Jericho Eddie Guererro Chris Benoit Kane New Age Outlaws(although they weren't still together as the NAO) Edge & Christian The Dudleyz The Hardy Boys Trish Stratus Lita
It even had really solid mid-card guys like Rikishi, Dean Malenko, and William Regal. They even had Mick Foley as commissioner.
Any PPVs that stick out in your head with a stacked card like that? Like I said I'm sure they were pretty much all like that but this one is fresh on my mind and I though it might make for a nice little topic to discuss.

Summerslam 2002 - In my opinion could have passed as a Wrestlemania the card was so stacked.
Rock v. Brock The Return of Shawn Michaels v. Triple H Kurt Angle v. Rey Mysterio Edge v. Eddie Guerrero RVD v. Chris Benoit Flair v. Jericho Storm & Christian v. Booker T & Goldust (Who were on fire as a team at the time) Taker v. Test (Only downside to the card, but not enough to ruin it in anyway as it was still decent to good)
Overall awesome card.

2000 was lacking stars in the beginning so for them to end it with all of the star power being back really helped out that year

First one that comes to mind is the 1992 Royal Rumble. Maybe cheating since it was a Rumble, but it was still stacked:
Undercard had :LOD, Owen/Neidhart, Roddy Pipper and the Natural Disasters. Pretty good talent for an undercard
The Rumble:
Hogan HBK Ric Flair Randy Savage The Undertaker Jake Roberts Sid Sgt. Slaughter Million Dollar Man British Bulldog
The match had 7 former or future WWF Champions, and 10 IC Champs, which is impressive considering the belts didn't move around that much until the late 90s.

A lot of stuff from 2002-2003.
Just look at the roster from the "Here Comes The Pain" video game to see how stacked it was that year.

First thing I thought of, there is nothing IMO that can beat the 1992 Rumble when it comes to star power. I dont know the card off the top of my head but Id imagine that the 91 Survivor Series was right up there as well. It actually goes bigger then what you said as their were 10 Former/future world champions in the Rumble. Martel (awa), Von Erich (nwa) were also champs...and I assume you didnt count Col. Mustafa who was WWE Champion as Iron Sheik.

Yeah that's another one I was thinking about being as it is widely considered the best Royal Rumble but like you mentioned I was kind of hesitant to mention it because it was a Rumble match but even then it was still stacked. I really doubt that in 20 years anyone is going to mention the card from this years Rumble as being legendary.

SummerSlam 2002 was already stated, so I'll go w/ No Mercy 2002.
Two five star matches in Taker vs Lesnar and Angle/Benoit vs Edge/Mysterio.
Jericho/Christian vs Booker T/Goldust was entertaining, and while the storyline sucked, HHH vs Kane wasn't a bad match either. Noble vs Tajiri was a fun quick match as well.
Trish vs Victoria and RVD vs Flair were the only two matches that lagged IMO.

I was going to watch that one on Youtube the other day but the guy that had uploaded a bunch of PPVs had that one blocked so I didn't get to see it but it was definitely one I wanted to see. I might have to keep looking around for it. I wanna see this so called roof-blowing pop for the big booty daddy.
