Did anybody notice that when the outsiders had the tag beltplatess that one of the side plates were off? Was this part of a storyline or does anyone know why it was missing a side plate?

I had always assumed that it was just wear and tear on the belt. I wasn't a regular WCW fan, but would watch time to time, and I don't think there was a storyline reason for it.

Yeah, it was totally just wear and tear on it. They brought in a new version of them in late 1997, but I think Nash and Hall still wore the old ones anyhow even when they weren't the tag champions.

I remember at World War 3 in 1997 that the Steiners were tag champions then, and they had both sets of tag belts. The old one that was broken and the newer ones that were made. So I wanna say they were created around that time to replace the broken set.

The Outsiders had some great matches with the Steiners and Harlem Heat didnt they?Scotts turn during that Outsiders match was also heavily telegraphed........ one of the least suprising heel turns EVER.

I agree about the Scotty heel turn on Rick. That was pretty awesome. Sadly they blew it after that. I don't think they ever had the proper blow off to the Scotty heel turn on Rick.

Any pictures? The only WCW Tag Belts I remember are the ones the Hardys held.
