I've probably made this thread before but I can't hurt to discuss it again.
I'm watching his doc again, it's one of my favorites. I think this guy is one of the top talkers in the business and I love his intensity.
I know he wasn't able to do as much after his accident but I'm probably one of the few who enjoy his wrestling more post-accident than I did when he was "Flyin' Brian" and I think that's largely due to his character.
Lets talk about our favorite Brian moments.

Most underrated guy in the business. The loose cannon is probably my favourite "character" of all time and fit perfectly with the Hart Foundation during my favourite time of WWF TV: 1997.

his ecw run, although short and not too full of actual wrestling matches, was absolutely ing great. waaaaay ahead of his time, definitely in my top 5 talkers. could have easily been the attitude era's piper.

Do you guys think he would have ever made it to the WWE title?

Do you guys think he would have ever made it to the WWE title? I they may of given him a chance, but I sure they would of given him an IC Title run. I watched some of the things he did in ECW, and I thought it was amazing, especially how most of the things he did, didn't catch on with others until the attitude era onwards. -And I agree he was underrated, I hope he gets put in the hall of fame, he truly deserves a place in there. -And agree about the Piper bit.

Do you guys think he would have ever made it to the WWE title? I think they may have had him challenge Stone Cold after he won the title, using all their history, but I don't think he would have actually been given the belt. The IC Title seems like it would have been a more realistic run for him.

Some of the matches he had in the dim WCW light heavyweight division. Magic.

He was awesome.
There was a short period in 1997 when he was actually my favorite wrestler during his run in the Hart Foundation.

Truly my favorite character in wrestling - Loose Cannon, that is. I loved how his career morphed from a nice, high-flying babyface, to a guy who spent time trying to fool everyone into believing he was actually nuts. The Hollywood Blondes were and still are my favorite tag team of all time.

I remember when he came to the WWF and i didn't like him, i thought he was a goob (i was about 10 or 11 at the time), But now as look back Pillman was Awesome!! i truly hate that i didn't appreciate him as i should've. I was pumped to buy his mattel Legend figure though.

The thing about Pillman too, many have tried to do their own Loose Cannon style character, but none could pull it off like Brian because one, obviously he was the first, so no one had seen someone do something like that, and two, Pillman could pull it off, and actually make you believe he was crazy.

big fan of Pillman.
I firmly believe his role would have been huge in 98 with Austin IF he hadnt walked after the screwjob.I think he would have been the guy Vince used instead of Foley.

I am a huge Pillman fan, keep expecting each year for him to be iducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
As far as plans for him, I remember hearing an interview with Austin shortly after Pillman's passing. During the interview, Stone Cold revealed that he and Pillman were initially going to feud over the IC title with Pillman going over. Austin would then become WWF Champion and Pillman would then challenge him for that title as well. The idea would be that last time Austin held a title, Pillman beat him for it. Austin of course would go over in that angle.
I miss Pillman and think he would've been a huge part of the Attitude Era and by now would probably be a great color commentator for the WWE.

That's what I was thinking, The Rock probably would'nt have received any type of push until post-WM 14. I personally think Pillman would've stayed. He had already been in WCW and saw the writing on the wall there.
