Wrestlemania Main events at April PPV

I think wrestlemania should be the end of rivalries and fresh ones should start after the event

For many years we have seen the wrestlemania main event at the following months ppv, Backlash 99 (rock vs austin) and backlash 04 (hbk v hhh v benoit) And once again we are gettin the same matches from this years mania, anyone think its abit of a rip off?

Well its kind of tricky, because you also don't want see any re-match's at WM. Every match on the card needs to feel fresh, and its pretty rare that wrestlers feud for only 1 match.

So at the end of the day, you have to chose between seeing re-match's at WM or the PPV afterwards. I prefer the latter, as do most people I would assume.

I hate it that Wrestlemania isn't the end of feuds.

Especially now that Extreme Rules follows Mania and you get bigger and better matches with higher stakes.

It makes no sense.

This isn't exactly a new trend. it's been going on for years. It's just the fact that they have to book a PPV four weeks later instead of spreading things out like they used to.

Look at some of the feuds that have continued past WM.

Hogan/Savage & Warrior/Rude after WM5
Savage/Dusty after WM6
Hogan/Slaughter after WM7
Savage/Flair, Tatanka/Martel & Money Inc./Natural Disasters WM8

Bret/Owen & Michaels/Razor WM10
Ramon/Jarrett & Taker/Million Dollar Corp WM11
Austin/Savio & Yoko/Vader WM12

etc.

I'm sure there are many more, these are just the ones I remember off the top of my head.
