I'm watching Dusty's documentary again. When he mentioned Funk my first thought was I wonder why we haven't seen a documentary on him yet. I'd buy it.
That guy is a total bad ass.

I'd be interested to see it, sure. But it's very low on my list of my must see careers to be honest.

Loved this when he return to ECW in 98, pissed off that Dreamer didn't pick him to face the Justin Credible and Jack Victory. I love during the bWo vs. Roadkill and Doring, after he gets knocked off the apron, Funk then stands up on the table, and then just drops down into it. Classic 'middle aged and crazy,' Funk.

Another thing that hasn't been touched on yet here, that has made Terry the respected guy that he is, is his giving to the business. He was never protective of his spot like a lot of old timers. Heyman even talked about it, saying how back in ECW, Funk would look at the locker room, and he'd be telling Heyman all the guys he could make. And in Heyman's famous 'Welcome to the Dance' speech before Barely Legal 97, where at the beginning, he said, "Thank Terry Funk, for all he's done for this company. For help putting us on the map. For being unselfish in selfish times, for taking the younger guys and showing them a better way." I mean really, when he beat Raven to win the ECW Title, that was Heyman really saying thank you to the Funkster.
