A match I forgot to mention in the honorable mentions was Angle vs Rey SummerSlam 2002. One of the best openers I've ever seen. Could have been on my top 5 list but the match was criminally too short. Should have been given another 5-10 minutes and it would have been talked about as an all time classic. agreed.Angle vs Rey was an absolute thriller.

I think the question here should be...
Did Kurt Angle ever have a bad match in WWFE?

I think the question here should be... Did Kurt Angle ever have a bad match in WWFE? In all honestly while he almost always had amazing matches(he could carry Big Show to a 4 or 5 star match for christ sakes), his few matches w/ Chris Jericho from 2000 and 2001 were always sub par IMO. Angle was green in early 2000 and the WWF over booked their few matches, but even by 2001, they just never seemed to click IMO. Their KOTR 2000 match was okay, but their one other big match, Rebellion 2001, was also okay at best. Shame they were never given a proper feud and their matches were sub par.

Yeah, I agree with that. Angle clicked with everyone, but something was "off" in my book when he wrestled Jericho. I don't know what it was. I mean, you look at it on paper and they should have classics, but for some reason it just never clicked right. But even those matches were not bad. Can't remember Angle ever having a match where after I said "Wow, that sucked"

I thought the same thing about Jericho vs. Edge at WM 26.
It should/could have been a classic but just felt blah.
Anyway, a "below average" Kurt Angle match is an "above average" match for most other guys.
