Owen being "The Game" wouldnt be that much different then him acting like the "Black Hart" really...He wasnt going to be world Champ. Not unless there was a lot of fall off on the main event scene...which there wasnt. Rock, Austin, HHH, Angle...lots of guys were around.

One of the things that enticed Owen into staying, was the supposed push into the main event, as they were going to build off of the Screwjob, and Owen was going to take Bret's place as the huge international star, but as soon as Owen agreed to stay, HBK / Vince shitcanned any ideas involved Owen and never allowed him into that spot.

I always liked his "Black Hart" face run after Bret left. I thought that had a lot of potential. Yeah me too. -They had so many points in which they could of given Owen the big one, even though he landed on the turnbuckle pad etc. didn't they want to show how cheese Sting's stunt was, so why didn't they put like a big crash mat in the ring? -They should off also just made Owen come out like every other superstar, plus when he was the Blue Blazer, he still came out from the stage on RAW episodes. -It would of been good to of seen him hold the oval shaped IC Championship. -I think he would of still gotten the big one, maybe of Austin - plus they could of linked the neck injury thing into the storyline. They would of probably given him the WWF Title around 2000 or 2001, World Heavyweight(if he was to still be around by then) 2003 or 2004?

They should have took all the momentum from Montreal and Bret's leaving and given it to Owen.
They tried but didn't give it 100% and it just didn't work out.

Id recommend it man-its a good watch Watched it this morning. Damn sad. it sure is. th only place owen as the Black Hart could have got a shot was at RR98....but that was always gonna be HBK vs UT.......and after the way he was treated in the Rumble?its obvious they had no plans for him at the top level.

Yeah, a pretty suckish way to get eliminated out of the Rumble. But he got some really good pops when he was the Black Hart and I loved him in the Nation, him and Rocky were so close to winning the tag titles!

This isn't the actually accident, the title is pretty much misleading, but look at the harness, what a waste of time, they should of just allowed Owen to come out from the stage:
I don't see why they decided to make Owen do it again, because it looked pretty sad - especially the way he's just hanging there.

lol when I heard owen as the game I just pictured owen replacing triple h in like famous triple h moments(obviously wouldnt have happened) also who else thinks that had owen not passed he wouldve been the one that ran over austin sorta like teaming with one of his biggest enemies to not only break austins neck but to finish the job

Would Owen have become world champion?
... Who is John Galt?
Great DVD in an enormously tragic kind of way.

What is the name of the ref who was in the ring at the same time Owen was coming down? I think it was Mike Chioda. Chioda is in the ring on one knee and Jimmy Korderas is standing with his hands on his head.

Found his wiki, but wow at what Owen said: "According to reports, Hart yelled to Korderas and told him to move because Hart did not want to land on Korderas."

^ Also Dave Hebner was in the pink shirt and Tony Garea was wearing the long sleeve red shirt.
I couldn't imagine being front-row that night...Must have been horrifying.

Yeah, I kinda get chills looking at these photos but the people front row must know a lot about it plus it must be really creepy. -And that's for the additional info Old School! But why wasn't their something like a crash mat?!

Watching Austin's doc, Owen never called to apologize for spiking him. Surprised to hear that.
