Was there ever a plan for booker to win the belt at mania? I've heard a few different stories. One is that Booker was origionally going to win but they changed their mind when Goldberg signed. Sounds plausable to me. HHH was going on to feud w/ Nash after WM regardless, and their feud really had nothing to do w/ the title, so maybe Booker was suppose to be champ during that. Another is that Booker was suppose to win but Vince and HHH decided to continue w/ HHH as champ. This is also plausable because in the special "Mania of Wrestlmania" that came out w/ WM19, HHH says in an interview that "Booker has all the tools to be the next big star...but if I had to critique him its that he is very hit and miss."...WTF?! Booker had already proven himself as a top guy in WCW. He was already an accomplished star and here was HHH in a legit interview saying a verteran like Booker needed work. Funny considering HHH had been putting out crap matches w/ everyone besides HBK since returning from his quad injury. Yeah, ego getting alittle big HHH?...

Triple H is literally my least favorite wrestler of all-time. He did so much to ruin WWE from 2003-2005 that I will never forgive him for.

So you think this did Booker more favors than being a legit threat to the World title... Wow, really? I'll agree that that segment did more harm to Booker than most of the crap the WWE pulled w/ him, but atleast they never ridiculed his acomplishments around then. They still refered to him as an upper star and took his 5 WCW world titles seriously. And IMO that segment was no worse than when John Cena beat Edge throughout Boston and threw him in the river or any other segments where stuff like that happens. When Booker went up against HHH, they had him bash all of Booker's accomplishments as nothing. He was said to be a chump...and then HHH backed it up by defeating him at WM. That did more harm to him than anything else when HHH said his people don't win world titles then went on to defeat Booker. These promos were worse than the one you posted IMO... Skip to 5:17

The who in the blue hell are you line? Rocky said that to everyone. I agree they jobbed Booker to everyone during the invasion angle but he was still in feuds w/ the top guys. Can't argue that. After HHH, he was feuding w/ Christian and Mark Henry in the mid-card.
