Have you ever noticed how most wrestlers in the 80's seemed to have the same finshers? Like a piledriver was a common one, and the figure four too!!

When I saw this title thread my instant thought was the Piledriver lol.
The camel clutch is another that springs to mind.
In the 90s a lot of the bigger guys used Powerbombs, or modified powerbombs (such as the Razor's edge or Last Ride).

The piledriver was at that time the most notorious move in pro wrestling.
I also remember back then that a regular bodyslam was a huge deal. In fact they made a wrestling movie with that as title!

I think the sleeper was the most common. So many people used the sleeper

I feel like a lot of people have used the DDT, but that's probably more over the years than the 80s.

I feel like a lot of people have used the DDT, but that's probably more over the years than the 80s. I think that was in the 90s when it started to become a signature time move for some superstars like the Rock etc.

Yeah DDT was exclusive to Jake in the 80's but by the 90's Raven, Cactus Jack (Double arm DDT) & The Rock were using it.
The running clothesline was used a lot (Steinerline, Hansen's running lariot) but Jim Duggan's 3 point stance was by far my favourite
