Not the biggest but one that always pissed me off. Steiners wrestle a great match against Headshrinkers at IX, NOT EVEN on the card at X. Not even a dark match which went to Bushwhackers vs. Heavenly Bodies. I'm kind of surprised they weren't involved in the 10-man tag team match Steiners were gone by that point though.... |

Steiners were on the way out but still around. Scott wrestled a KOTR qualifying match against IRS, I think IRS cheated and Rick came out to complain or help Scott.

Mr Perfect went into a fued that was quite big at the time with Luger at WM9, one that had just run off froma fued with Flair, then he was a special guest referee at WM10.

What about Ryder and Hawkins
Both were involved in the main event of WM 24.
Ryder was on the card this year,but Hawkins has not been on the card since

yeah theres a few good examples.... Savage is a great one of course. Sgt Slaughter and Yoko both suffered the fate of defending titles at one Mania and being well in the undercard on the next....I know Yoko won the tag titles but still Lex Luger fought for the title at WMX and was in the opening match at WMXI All good choices. Chriis Benoit and Eddie Guerrero are two other names not mentioned much. Both wreslted in world title matches at WM20, but Eddie was opening WM21 w/ Rey the next year while Benoit was thrown into the MITB match w/ five other mid-carders. Both were great matches, but both dropoffs none-the-less. That Eddie vs. Rey match was one of the best on the show. Those two  ing killed at at WM21. |
