and yeah I dont see anything stopping Rock and HHHs rise.the DX vs Nation feud was well known to be a vehicle to get both men into the top brackets of singledom which it achieved with great sucess IMHO.

Exactly. Alot of people feel a lot of guys wouldn't have recieved the pushes they did had HBK been around, but I disagree. Rock was still on his way to becoming one of the biggest stars of all time whether HBK was there or not, and Foley was still the loveable-underdog that everyone wanted to see win. And instead of attacking X-Pac at WM15 and turning heel, HHH could have attacked HBK instead. Its been well noted that Shawn tried holding down guys like Rocky in 1997, but he had so much talent that I highly doubt HBK would have been able to prevent his huge rise.
