Series 10, Assortment 7277 consisted of: Ric Flair, the Repo Man, Tatanka, Papa Shango, El Matador and Hacksaw, oops I mean Berzerker: Here is a typical cardback from this series: Next up is a Testshot Prototype of the Repo Man. Stomwijf owns a bunch of these testshots. Here we have a pre-production sketch of Flair; note where it says to reuse Rude's body. Last up is a sketch of "Texas Tornado" Berzerker: Hope you enjoyed this post. Next up later this week: the YELLOW CARDED SERIES!!!

this was my favorite series at the time it came out. simply because they made ric flair in a wwf figure. i know alot of people would dissagree because they don't like the fig itself. brings back alot of memories, i remember buying the flair fig at stop & shop and being ready run out of the store in excitement! lol
thanks for these hasbro histories!

I loved finding the Papa Shango figure. I actually wish they DID release The Berzerker with the Tornado-body.

these are fast becoming the highlight of my week lol....i'm glad they went with the duggan body for the berzerker. way better choice, since much like the 'high flyer' body, you restricted lots of maneuvers with the tornado/tatanka body style. the same reason i always wished they would've used a crush style body pose and action for a completley new undertaker figure, giving you two arms instead of one always stuck in a clothesline pose...unless of course they gave you his wm 9 raven to perch on the arm too btw* funny as hell that they just touched up a duggan photo for the proto image and didn't even take the 2x4 out of his hand lol... the blue paint on tatanka's leg is also pretty interesting too.

I loved that series. I remember getting Papa Shango, then having to get another when I tried to wipe his face paint off and screwed his whole face up. He and DiBiase used to team in my old Hasbro fig fed days.

These Hasbro posts of yours are the reason why I keep coming back to this non-Jakks section. You my friend are the KING! By the way do you happen to have an artist sketch of an Ultimate Warrior? Would love to see that posted.

Awesome read. Just wish there were more variations to see.
Quick question, was tatanka released with that blue on his leg?

I may post a Warrior sketch among others after my run is over. I do have other sketches as I only have shown 1-2 per topic. Sorry guys and gals for running a bit behind on the posts. This summer has been busy one in work and personal levels. Next topic will be tomorrow night: yellow cards!

Agreed, I loved Flair so much when I got him. Many headlocks were performed... And thanks again for the info, Hasbromaniac. Particularly the Berzerker sketch.
