Does anyone what happen to him with Jimmy Hart And Dino Bravo? why did leave? and happen after wwf?

Frenchy Martin Does anyone what happen to him with Jimmy Hart And Dino Bravo? why did leave? and happen after wwf? He was a WWF jobber before and during that run as Dino Bravo's manager. Not sure what exactly caused his departure, but he's Rick Martel's brother in real life. |

Frenchie Martin was Rick Martell's brother?
Guess we know where all the good looks in that family went!
I remember hating Dino Bravo when I was a kid. I just thought he sucked!

Frenchy and Martel aren't brothers. Martel's brother is Michel Martel, who teamed with Martin for a time. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michel_Vigneaultas for why he dropped Frenchy, I'm not sure. But it would seem that he went back to being a jobber for a brief time then retired. |

Frenchy and Martel aren't brothers. Martel's brother is Michel Martel, who teamed with Martin for a time. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michel_Vigneaultas for why he dropped Frenchy, I'm not sure. But it would seem that he went back to being a jobber for a brief time then retired. Ah yes, thanks for the correction. Frenchy was billed as Michel's brother when they teamed, but was no relation to Michel & Rick in real life. Sorry bout that... as I get older, occasionally a bit of kayfabe mixes with reality in my mind. |

Frenchy was a great wrestler, hecwas not given an opportunity to shine as a manager. I know that he had gotten pissed about something and upped and quit the business entirely without notice which explains his sudden departure. For those that don't frequent the customs board, irecently made a Frenchy Martin custom fig.   |

Of all the wrestlers changing managers Valentine and Bravo never seemed to have official reasons they got switched from 1988 when they were done with Johnny V. to 1989 when Bravo was done with Frenchy. I think Beefcake fit with Johnny V., Valentine with Hart and Bravo with Frenchy.
Warlord and Barbarian from Slick and Heenan had a story, Blassie's men to Slick had a story and many more did but I don't recall official stories with 1988 with New Dream Team becoming singles and Frenchy leaving.

Wow, Frenchy Martin, that's somebody I had almost completely forgotten about. I remember suffering through a VERY LONG opening match he had with SD Jones at a local house show when I was a kid. I believe it ended in a 20 minute draw, if I'm not mistaken, and that 20 minutes felt like 2 hours.
