I was watching some of Rock's segments and matches from 2002 and it's like watching a whole different person. He turned into some sort of generic babyface character that happened to have great mic skills. It was like he was impersonating The Rock instead of actually BEING The Rock. He just seemed to go through motions if that makes sense.

have you seen the rock's return at all? He cuts the same promo over and over, by 2002 he did and said everything he could of done, there wasn't much he could have brought to the table by that point thankfully his heel turn 03 refreshened him up a bit
