Just wondering what people thought about this gimmick? As for the 90's WWF gimmicks, I actually liked it and wished he would have been used better. What did you think of him?

Awful awful awful gimmick. The man pretended to be a minotaur, it was so god awful its almost hard to put it into words. When your entrance attire looks like this, you are doomed

it was the sort of gimmick that WCW would have come up with in the early 90's when it was trying to copy everything that WWF was doing.

I remember seeing him playing a mobster in ECW. Terrible gimmick. Impossible to get over especially if you are lacking charisma like the individual whom portrayed Mantaur.

it was the sort of gimmick that WCW would have come up with in the early 90's when it was trying to copy everything that WWF was doing. WCW had Minotaur in 1991 but don't think it had the wrestlecrap-ness that WWF's had. I wish Mantaur had stuck around longer. It's a shame with all the work put into a gimmick like Mantaur that they don't keep him on even though it was crap. He even had two outfits during his stint. He was managed by Jim Cornette and I don't think I've heard his comments on Mantaur though he'd probably rather forget it or did forget it, it was such a short lived gimmick. He lasted from around late 1994 to summer 1995 when Sid and Diesel needed lumberjacks.

I always ask people if they remember him and they don't.I think the only ppv's he was on was Royal Rumble 1995 & IYH 2,I think Bob Holly beat him in a KOTR 95 qualification match.
