I thought Rikishi's heel turn was handled badly Agreed. Working with Austin, ANgle, Triple H, Rock, Taker. How could it off gone so... So wrong.

Although it was short lived Mick Foley turning heel before ECW One Night Stand 2 and teaming with Edge, instead of having a rematch from WrestleMania they decided to make Foley look like a complete bitch. That was all Foleys doing. The whole kissing Vinces ass thing and teaming with Edge all came from him. His whole "Hardcore Diaries" Book is about that storyline.

1) Scott Steiner face turn 2002 - Seriously, this guy was a complete heel. His whole character in WCW was built around being this raunchy, badass dude who would make fun of how people looked and then kick ass. There was nothing face about him, yet the WWE debuted him as a face simply to job to HHH. He should have came in as a dominant heel like he was for WCW in 2000 and been placed on SD since they were lacking top heels for a while w/ Angle hurting his neck, Big Show putting on a ton of weight, and a young and green John Cena having to step into the #1 heel role on SD for a bit.
2) Randy Orton face turn 2004 - Same as Steiner. The fans hated Orton. He was more over as a heel than HHH was, and this was definatly a big factor as to why Orton turned face out of no where. He had no face qualities at all. Just a great heel who got beat up by his buddies. Thats why we were suppose to cheer for him. He went from being the #1 heel in the company to a loser face who jobbed to everyone.
3) Christian heel turn 2011 - Christian was a great heel from 2003-2005, but by 2011, he was a great veteran who the fans wanted to see get his due. He finally won the world title and what should have been a great moment was completly ruined by him losing the title 2 days later to Randy Borton. This was arguably the last "feel good" moment we'll have for a long time, but sadly it'll always be overshadowed by him losing it 2 days later. The guy should have be given a run w/ the title as a face for a while, and then after a few months dropped it to Orton. Instead, the WWE decided to skip the whole Christian title run that many wanted to see and gave us Christian jobbing to Orton for months.
4) Bret Hart multiple turns in 1998 - This guy had a ton of momentum going into the company and the fans wanted the cheer him badly. Instead of giving the fans what they wanted, we saw Hart jump from face to heel and back so many times that fans didn't even care about Hart after a few months. It made no sense what so ever for him to join the nWo either.
5) Steve Austin heel turn 2001 - I actually loved the idea of a heel Austin in 2001, but the fact that the WWE did it in his home town at the biggest show of the year ruined the moment, as the fans were never going to boo him in his home town. His next heel turn at the Invasion PPV sucked even more. The fans wanted to cheer Austin. They cheered him throughout his first heel turn that year. Instead of turning Jericho heel at the PPV, which made the most sense, Austin turned heel in a move that confuses people to this day.

yeah Bret joining the nWo was totally idiotic.I mean why would the guy who had been so badly screwed......join up with the Screwer in Eric Bischoff?
and as for Jericho turning at Invasion-that would have been EPIC.he would have became the 1# heel immediately and releiveing Austin of the title at Summerslam woul;d have cemented that.
I think his career would have been much much different........

Steve Austin's initial heel turn after WrestleMania X-Seven. He was great doing the dastardly acts he did that Spring, but the fans were still cheering him no matter who he faced. It wasn't until he joined WCW/ECW that a majority started actually booing him.

It wasn't until he joined WCW/ECW that a majority started actually booing him. Even during his run w/ the Alliance the fans still cheered him. Vince was just stupid for putting Austin in the Alliance. He was the most over guy in the company and from a storyline perspective it made zero sense.

Bret's heel turns were proof that Eric had no idea what do with a bret hart Sadly...yes. It wasn't hard either. Just let Bret Hart be Bret freakin' Hart aka The best worker in the business in 1997.

Steve Austin (WCW/ECW Heel)- Completely unnecessary, It was not needed for the rivalry, the alliance already had big names from the fallen WCW and some turn coat WWF stars. I believe Austin should have stayed with the WWF the entire feud however the WWF could of turned him into a tweener similar to the way Jericho was portrayed. Spike Dudley (The Boss Angle) - I've never understood the angle entirely to begin with. He reappears with a goatee and short hair and begins to take control of his brothers careers? This is the same person who portrayed a crazed tye-dye spot monkey. It just did not work I think.

THere's always a lot of posts on heel turns and face turns that were great and such, but let's look back in history at some of Heel/face turns that should've happened, and the the ones that should have never been. Scott Hall 1998: When the NWO split up into two factions the members that went to the Black and Red side turned face. For whatever reason Hall stayed on the black and white side! This makes no sense to me as to why he wouldn't go with his buddy Kevin Nash. If they wanted there to be some balance between the two factions and start a program between the two, they should have had Hall join up with the Wolfpac and then turning Nash a few weeks would have been more effective. Goldberg 2000: WCW was on a downward spiral and in a need to shake things up, they turned goldberg in what I could only assume was an attempt to relive the magic of the the Hogan heel turn from 1996. It had no impact whatsoever and didn't last very long. What heel/face turns do you think should/shouldn't have happened? I'm not sure if anyone mentioend it or not but on WWE classics on demkand the wrestling roundtable was about the nWo and Nash was there,, they broguht up Hall staying with black and whie and nash said it was because Hogan was upset that all the "Cool guys" had jumped from the white and black..

about Bret.. Being a nWo guy.. I don't think he ever truly joined him, (other then nWo 2000) At the time he would onyl wear Hogan shirts,.. I think WCW had plans to infiltrate Hart to be buddies with Hollywood, and perhaps attack him when the time was right,..but i think plans where scrapped..

Edge's heel turn in 2010. They drafted him to Raw where he was heel for like 4 months then when he got traded to Smackdown he became a face again. There was really no need to turn him heel and align him with Jericho. Especially when they were bitter enemies at the time.

I would have liked to see Lex Luger win the title at Summerslam 93 and really given the Lex Express run a chance. I was loving Summer 93 with the Lex Express but maybe I was the only one.

Bret's heel turns were proof that Eric had no idea what do with a bret hart After watching all of Vince Russo's shoots, I gotta say it was mainly Russo/Bischoffs disagreements. Russo always said that 'When he saw Bret Hart in the WWF, he was one of the top guys. Important, a great wrestler. All that. But when he came to WCW, he was given the united states title. unacceptable' So, I put it down to that. Russo wanted him as a powerful, over, WCW Champion (heel?) and Bischoff kept ruining that.
