ok so the Harts and Demo came through and here we are at the finals of the 80s.
my vote here goes to Demolition.they had 2 reigns in the 80s,one of which is still the longest ever and considering the field of talent employed at that time its some achievement.
plus they were over as HELL as faces.joint second most popular act alongside Warrior at most PPVs.

I love the Harts. Love the Harts.
However,
Demolition was THE tag team of the WWF in the 1980s.

I love both equally. Both awesome tag teams that defined 80s tag team wrestling. I based my vote on a general tiebreaker question, who would I want on my side in a bar fight. Demolition wins.

Both teams were great, but I gotta go with Demolition on this one.

A very hard decision, as these are easily my two favorite tag teams ever. I went with Demolition simply because they were more dominant during their title reigns. The Hart Foundation rarely won as champions (1st run w/ the belts only). They were kind of like the Honky Tonk Man of the tag division, where they always kept the belts through some kind of shady tactics. Does anybody else remember the old Coliseum Video they did on the Hart Foundation in the late 80's? I don't think they won a single match on that whole video lol! The tour of the The Hart Foundation headquarters on that video is also a hoot.
