I was a little disappointed with the Q&A. I did feel like Bill repeated himself a few times when more questions could of been answered. I don't mind not knowing what attire a Flashback HBK will be in but the way it came off was that they would do a Flashback HBK in the future but they didn't say if they had one in the works to be out by the end of the year or not. It just seemed like they were like "yeah HBK is a Legend, we'll do him at some point".
Also I never understand why people ask if we will get a new Chris Jericho or Kane. You know we obviously will get them because they are on the active roster so why even bother asking things like that? It just takes questions away from us asking something that we don't already know about.
I'm confused about no Flashback Christian. I could swear we were told in another Q@A that a Flashback Christian was coming out.

I thought this was one of the better Q&As as this time Tim (for the most part) asked questions and didn't interrupt Bill as much with compliments or what he thought would be cool.
Thanks for asking my question about tag teams in Flashbacks! :-) Hopefully future Flashbacks can fill the gap for some partial teams we have like the Colossal Connection just like what was done with the Big Bossman to complete the Twin Towers.
I always appreciate Bill's answers. Even when I don't like the answer (like the long wait on Flashback Christian) he explains the thought process instead of just saying it's not coming. As someone who really got into this line because of the scale, it means a lot that they'd delay Sin Cara to get the scale right.
Most of my WWE purchases are Legends so I was really glad to hear the level of commitment to Legends or whatever name will be needed to keep getting wrestlers from when I got into wrestling.
Way late in the thinking now, but if we could get another Matty.com set of Legends in 2013, I wonder if they could include a Build A Figure piece in each of the six to entice sell through? It'd have to be someone legends collectors would definitely buy like a Bobby Heenan or Jimmy Hart, but maybe that would help drive interest in that format?
Thanks again Bill and RSC for the Q&A. Looking forward to getting Elite 13 Edge, Bossman, King Booker, Yokozuna and RSC Exclusive Bret this year!

I just read some of the replies over so excuse my double post. Tom I understand not asking what attire HBK will be in but why even almost dodge the question? HBK is a Legend, he's under contract, he was on RAW last night. It's not like we asked for someone who's under TNA contract or has major heat with the WWE. The way you made it sound is if we asked about Chris Benoit or Owen Hart.
If the Q@A's are only gonna be "will we see a new Kane or Chris Jericho" then why bother asking? Of course we will see those figures. I understand being patient with the Shawn Michaels Flashback figure but I'm just confused about why the question was almost avoided as if we asked for Owen Hart or Chris Benoit.

A couple quick things -- thought the Q and A was great. Of course we'd like some more spoilers about future product ... that's just our nature, but Tom explained perfectly why they chose the questions they did. Tom, you're the man, and I couldn't agree any more with what you wrote.
The biggest thing I took away from the conversation -- and I feel like it almost deserves its own thread one of these days -- is that Bill said they're going to always make some legends/flashbacks/whatever you want to call them moving forward. Yes, the Mattycollector line isn't doing well and we all know what might happen there, but they'll find a way to keep making past wrestlers. Maybe now we can all stop freaking out about it, myself included, lol. Good news, and I really liked his overall attitude/demeanor/explanations regarding everything. Made lots of sense.

I was disappointed with the E15 line up, but I'll be damned if Mattel hasn't really impressed me with the rest of their line ups and their attitude about the whole thing. I think it really turned out great.

Quick notes on pics: Arn hair will be same color as beard on final figure. Tag Belt with Evan will be the proper color. He was meant to ship in same wave as Kofi ( next wave after this one) but was moved up to replace John Morrison when we learned he was leaving the company. Just signed off on proper belt color this week. Bellas belt is final color. A VUM version of the belt will be available later this year on an Elite figure ( you probably have already figured this one out) Thanks Bill Can you tell us what this Morrison was going to look like? Headscan? New tights (I would assume)? Would he have had his entrance coat?

I meant the grey shin pads or whatever you call them. What serieswasthedebut undertaker in?
When was debut survivor series undertaker released?

Maybe for Jimmy they can do: Bret Hart Jim "the Anvil" Neidhart Honky Tonk Man Jerry "the King" Lawler IRS Greg "the Hammer" Valentine That would be sweet!

First off I love the idea of a flashback set being a tag team (really want Bulldogs, and Hart Foundation) Having the Legends 2013 figures come with a build a fig would be brilliant. it would make sure people would buy the whole set! They would have to make it a saught after figure like Bobby the Brain, Jimmy Hart, Paul Bearer or Mr Fuji.

I don't really understand Tim Ash's complaint about the new Yokozuna figure. He was saying it reminded him too much of the Jakks Ringside Exclusive Yokozuna. But that Yoko had different obscure coloured tights and a tiny peanut head. So surely this version is a better updated and in iconic attire Yoko.

Googling Bundy shows that he's not nearly as big as people remember him being. Yeah, he was a huge guy, but he didn't have any rolls or anything really. Is it still a little small? Probably. But it's not that bad at all. I'm not big on the tee, but I understand there aren't many accessories you can give Bundy and at the price point they wanted to give him something. At least it is the design of the Bundy shirt they sold The Bella's look as different as they do in real life. Arn wore the same tights in the brain busters that he did as part of the Horsemen.
