Interesting the sent Elite Sin Cara back for scale issues. I love that Mattel pay that much attention to scale to hold up releasing a figure that could potential sell really well just to get the scale spot on.

Toyfair might as well have just been a few proto pics uploaded to Facebook. Pretty letdown, not gonna lie. But the Q&As are always interesting, so I'm looking forward to that. Ha ha ha. Nice. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised with the new Rumblers as I was only expecting to see those we've seen pop up online in recent weeks (Cara, new Miz, Christian, Rhodes etc.) Although it is quite strange that these were not included...leads me to believe that additional protos will be revealed before the end of the conference. Here's hoping...

Does the Q&A reveal anything else?

Tim Ash is infuriating. Someone asked about figures over 10 inches, before Bill could even answer, Tim starts talking about Unmatched Fury style statues. Please just read the actual questions and add in your own follow ups and unique things rather than editing other questions.
Towards the end, Bill gets asked about a flashback Christian and he says that they don't really want to do it because he is very much a part of the current roster. Does he not realise they did KANE in the first Elite set that included Flashback figures? Regardless of mask or not, Glenn Jacobs has always played the Kane character so surely doing a Christian to go with Edge would be fine.

Yeah, it can be a tad irksome when Tim Ash goes into agenda mode like he did several times there. All credit to Tim for editing out some of the sillier questions though (I haven't read the thread but I know from previous Q&A threads that some folks on here ask really dumb stuff). I appreciate Bill trying to explain the difficulties and realities of trying to make stuff, that it's not just as easy as "three guys on a messageboard want something, let's make it!" I'm not sure that message ever gets through to some, but I appreciate him tackling questions and at least trying to explain why things do and don't happen. There's a bit of BS in there for sure, but nowhere near what it was like when the marketing guys were doing the Q&As.

Can some please transcript the Q and A or post the info revealed? I can't watch the video because I'm in a Blackberry and the video is not the right format.

To me the Q&A didn't seem very informative this year. It was just a of technical stuff with how things are selling and fixes to problems etc. I wanted to hear more about who's coming out or has the chance of getting made.

Watching it now, apparently the kneepads thing is that they try to "be as accurate as they can."
They're not ready to call the Legends line a failure yet, because a failure means calling it quits, and they're going to still go through with the six they have. They seemed to imply that the Flashbacks are doing well and they are trying to find the best place for Legends, whether it is on Matty or at retail. Bill says "we are always going to be doing figures that represent the history of the WWE. Maybe we'll call them something different, but we are making a commitment to keep them in the line."
Andre is selling "decently," but he is still available. They are getting a "good read" about who is interested in those kind of characters.

I love that Mattel pay that much attention to scale to hold up releasing a figure that could potential sell really well just to get the scale spot on. What probably hurt the Sin Cara figure was when he got suspended and they replaced him with Hunico and Hunico is about a foot taller! lol Remember, when Hunico first became "Sin Cara" we had heard rumors that they would do a Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara angle, but it was just guess work at that time and just as many sites were speculating that the original Sin Cara would not be brought back. So when the original Sin Cara came back, they had to scale him back down a little smaller. I'm just assuming.....but it would make sense if my answer was right.

Mattel likes to save line-ups for big events like SDCC so these interviews are never going to reveal actual line-ups. Plus line-ups change all the time so why would Mattel give us that information and when line-ups change, we start to itch and moan and complain.

With all due respect to you guys, anyone who asks that question, if it is ever me in charge of picking questions, as it was this time, I am going to mostly ignore those types of questions. "When will we see CM Punk in his Best In The World shirt?" or "Is the Cena with camo and Rise Above Hate shirt scheduled?" are largely obvious and mostly irrelevant. I am not going to have the lead designer of an action figure line sit down and rifle off a bunch of names and looks from future line ups for 20 minutes. That goes for Legend/ low roster names as well. They touched on the people who were important (i.e. those at the Rumble) and I'm not going to have them asked about Trent Barretta or Bruiser Brody for the 30th time.

They shouldn't ask them about Trent or Hawkins( even though I want one) for the 30th time even when they confirmed them being made. By CC we should see protos. Patience.

I agree the Q&A was interesting but it still felt like a let down. I'm glad they spoke about the Andre stains thread we had but nothing on the possibility of a flashback HBK. He briefly said yes, but I wish he could went into a little more detail about as it is a big want of many on this board.

Tom's right we already know where getting a best in the world Punk, a rise above hate camo Cena in every set,
the flashback Christian would be a nice figure to go with the Edge figure. I thought at Ringside fest they said they were working on him
We know where getting Barretta, Curt Hawkins.
I would have liked to hear about a few more names that were coming to the line legends or other debut stars. Diesel, Mankind,

I dont think enough questions were asked of him. He spent too much time repeating himself and rambling on and on about one question....i thought in a 44 minute interview that alot of peoples questions would of been asked but after watching it I dont really feel like we got much answered. Oh well.

Very nice Q&A! Thanks Bill, Tim, & Tom.
All I can say is I absolutely love Mattel's WWE line and hope they continue for many more years to come.

Oh well. Yea i felt the same way. Its seems like only a handful of questions were asked when there was like 8 pgs worth. I know some were repetitive and others just stupid but there were a good amount of questions posted that weren't asked.

I haven't read the Q&A thread this time around so I'm curious about what they ducked. But I remember the old ones always being "when are we gonna see ______?" which Tom covered.
