These guys had some of the greatest matches in the 90s and I think on their own they both have 3 discs worth of good matches. I know they release the (underwhelming) Hart & Soul DVD but I'm talking about separate DVD sets for each wrestler. I know most people on this site like and respect Owen and Davey but do you think WWE would put a set like this out?

Not for Owen due to Martha Hart lawsuit.
She doesn't want WWE making money off Owen's name.

A tag team set? No. But I would like both a British Bulldog and Owen Hart 3 Disc set.
This is where I get confused though. I'm pretty sure that Vince has the legal right to put out an Owen Hart DVD but he won't do it because of Martha and her suing him at every given opportunity. He owns the footage, and therefore has the right to resell it or present it however he wants I think. That is why we have seen Owen in things like the greatest wrestlers of the 90's, Bret's DVD, the Hart and Soul DVD set, and more recently the King of the Ring set.
An Owen set is at the top of my most wanted list so I would love to see that and have it include lots of stuff with Yokozuna and then his run with Davey. I just don't think it's very likely at this point.

I'd love an owen set, I'd love to hear Jim talk about the New Foundation.
Davey would also be good.

personally I have no desire to see this as I find both chronically overrated but I dont begrudge it to those that do.

I have to agree with this completely. I know Owen Hart was a decent wrestler, who had some good matches, but to have a 3 disc set on him is just ridiculous. If Owen didn't tragically die in 1999, I really doubt people who give a care about him. If you want a Owen Hart dvd, just buy the Greatest Stars of the 90s dvd set. There is a profile on there of him, and a few Owen matches too. Enjoy!

I loved owen before he died, from his New Foundation days, fueding with bret and teaming with anvil in 94, to owen and bulldog as a team, the heart foundation faction, and his run with JJ in 98/99, Owen is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, regardless of how he died.
Lets face it eddie guerrero is only in the hall of fame and remembered so fondly because he died, it's what happens when people die.

What made Owen's (and Eddie's and Benoit's and Perfect's) death so tragic, as a wrestling fan, was that they were so talented and could've gone so much farther in their careers. Also, I have the 90s set which is what made me want to watch more Owen matches . Also, there is a pretty good match with him and Edge on Edge's set.

Owen couldn't have gone any farther than what he did. I did not ever see Owen Hart as being a World Champion in WWE. For so many reasons too.
The main ones were that look at who the World Champions were in 98 - 2001, Rocky, Austin, Triple H, Taker, Kane, Foley, Angle. No way would they have made time to give Owen Hart a World Title reign in there.
If Owen would have won the World Title, it would have been in 94 - 96 era. And it never happened.

Anybody who thinks Bulldog is overated, thats fair i guess. But to say Owen is/was is pure stupidity! Guy was a first class performer all the way around. Listen to what guys like HHH say about him in their dvds etc.

I wish she'd allow it if the proceeds went to his children's charity. It would help out everyone: wrestling fans AND kids!
