espn.go.com/los-angeles/nfl/story/_/id/7535394/nfl-commissioner-roger-goodell-says-34-teams-likely-nfl-adds-franchise-los-angelesAt his Super Bowl press conference, the question came up about putting a team in LA again to commissioner Goodell. Commissioner Roger Goodell says if the NFL puts a team in Los Angeles, it is probable the league would expand to 34 franchises. Appearing Thursday night on "Costas Live" on NBC Sports Network, Goodell said the league "doesn't want to move any of our teams." "We probably don't want to go to 33" teams by adding just one new club if a suitable stadium is built in the Los Angeles area, Goodell said. Instead, the league would consider adding two. An odd number of teams would pose scheduling problems, including at least one club being off each week, and would create one division with five teams. On Friday, speaking during his annual pre-Super Bowl news conference, Goodell said the NFL has not considered expansion, nor did it have immediate plans to. What are your thoughts? I for one feel like the NFL is already watered down as it is and adding two more teams would make the product worse off down the road.

L.A. can get a team without expansion. With the Jags being sold; they can and probably will be moved to L.A.

Put a team in LA and one in Las Vegas, Id like to see some more west coast teams out here. All there is is Niners, Raiders, Seachickens, Chargers and Cards Los Angeles Shock Las Vegas Gamblers

To be honest...They don't need another team in California. There's 3 teams in that state anyway. California is inundated with pro sports teams. Its time other states get a chance at trying to make a profit off of pro sports. I'd say LV, Portland, Boise, Oklahoma City..etc

Id much rather see the Rams move back and put a team in the midwest like Oklahoma as you mentioned and then add a team to Las Vegas. I cant see teams in Portland or Boise going over that well though.

Maybe LA isn't meant to have a football team...anyway the Rams are better now in St.Louis than they ever were in LA. LA is more of a basketball city though.

I don't think LA is meant to have football either. It's had a couple of franchises and all of them have left.

Personally, I prefer it the way it is.

Expansion would be cool, but as mentioned above, it'd sorta water things down further. If it were to happen, however, I'd like to see teams in Los Angeles and Oklahoma. I think Oklahoma deserves a team based on the rich history of their college program alone. Not to mention the fact that Okies would jump all over an NFL team. Instant rivalries with Dallas and Houston.

The NFL should drop to 30 and get rid of the Bills and Browns.

Putting a team up in Toronto and one in Los Vegas/LA/Oklahoma would be the best bet here, however, the NFL is fine the way it is.

The NFL should drop to 30 and get rid of the Bills and Browns. The Browns are too historic and the Bills....well what would Berman do if he couldnt predict the Bills vs Niners every year?? Id drop the Jags and probably the Bucs.
