thanks for the pic. What the heck are those things? I have never heard of them and they almost look like a lego guy to me. how much do they cost? and do you buy them individually? They're kinda like those Kubric (sp?) figures. They're another fad for collectors to spend their money on. I kinda like them myself, but I'm not sure if I want to spend my money on them. BTW, I saw some K-1 and NJPW figs like those on eBay. They looked good, but I felt that the heads were a little too big.

when do they get released? Judging by the write-up above the pic, it looks like "spring/summer". vandutch, The tiny Minimates figures have been around for several years, with figures made of lots of popular TV, comic book, and movie properties. If you search for them on ebay you'll see hundreds of figures from all sorts of genres. They come in sets, usually 2-packs, priced around 7-9 dollars for a 2-pack (through online retailers. You can usually see them on ebay for $4 a set for the more common or newer ones). I see that the last Rocky set was released as a 4-pack, so maybe $14-20 for a set of 4. I have not gotten any up until now (actually I have a Captain America one that came with a DVD I bought), but I will get the Thunderlips set for my Hogan collection.

It would be my first Mini-mates purchase, but I may have to break down and get those.

I always wanted the Mr. T that came with the videogame MTV Celebrity Death Match. Now I want the Thunderlips too.
