1992, 2004, and 2006 were the most unpredictable imo.
W/ 1992, it had more star power than it ever had before, and I didn't think that Flair, being an NWA guy, would be allowed to win it.
In 2004, nobody thought Vince would actually allow Benoit to start at #1 and go the distance. This had arguably even more star power than 1992, as it had Benoit, Orton, Booker, Kane, Jericho, Steiner, RVD, Christian, Angle, Big Show, Goldberg, and Cena all in this one.
I didn't think Rey would be the winner in 2006 and was disapointed w/ the decision to put him over. He only got over because he constantly mentioned Eddie Guerrero and him winning from #2 was just not believable. Had they had him come in at around #20 I think his win would have been taken more seriously. I just remember it being a joke when he won it.

HBK in 2010 when he was desperate for the Undertaker/HBK II. I thought he was a lock for it Yeah, I also wanted their match at Mania to have been for the WHC.

I hated that, I wouldn't have minded as much if he came in at like #10 but for him to still be the longest guy to last i the Rumble is a joke to me. It annoyed me more he took the record from Benoit, who was actually believable at going the whole distance and it was more of a shock. When Rey came out at #2 it was such a dissapointment knowing he'd be in it for so long. I remember watching that rumble basically hoping someone would eliminate Rey but everyone knew he was gunna win.

Rey was over at the time, but not enough to warrant roryal rumble and world title wins. Eddie's death was basically exploited by the WWE and they had Rey constantly mention him to get pops. Add that to the fact that they had him win from #2 and its a joke.

If he came in at a reasonably high number and wasn't the focal point of attention going the whole distance and just won it with a bit of luck then I wouldn't have minded so much but they seem to give him Cena-esque powers for the night and it just didn't work for me.

I didn't know who would win the 1996 Royal Rumble. Granted, I was only 11 at the time but still.
