I've seen this match before, but I decided to pop in my Pillman dvd last night, this is one of the matches I watched and just WOW.
You don't hear crowds like that anymore, so white hot it gives you energy just sitting at home watching.
The only time in recent memory I've heard a crowd like this, would have been at MITB 2011 but prior to that, no telling how long it had been.
This would have been an excellent match without the crowd, but crowd reactions make it so much better.
Anyway, lets talk about this match and/or share other matches that had crowd reactions of this magnitude.

There's a part at the beginning where the entire Foundation walks to the ring and the crowd goes nuts.
I think King or J.R. says "the building is shaking". When you watch it on TV you can actually see the camera shake. It's crazy!

I remember marking out like hell for the Hart Foundation, been British they were still good guys in my eyes, but in Canada they were the dogs bollocks. I doubt we'll ever see a crowd pop like that again.

That whole 2 hour ppv event was just magic. You had Triple H vs. Mankind in a brutal match, you had Taka vs. Sasuke in a unique match that WWE fans have never seen before. You had Taker vs. Vader which was the perfect match to put before the main event. I think it may be the best In Your House event ever. I know 1995 had some good ones, but nothing like that one from July 97.

Yeah it was a great event!
quite a sad statistic though is that 4 of the 10 participants in the main event are no longer with us.

I want them to start releasing old documentaries/PPVs on blu rays instead of just new stuff.

The post-main event ending is something to watch over again and enjoy. Tragedy had yet to hit the Hart Family, despite being heels in the states they were amazing babyfaces in Canada, good ole Vince McMahon had yet to become evil, no screwjob yet and although the attitude era probably saved WWF and wrestling it was nice to see a a family values like event. The Hart family getting in the ring is something tear worthy. Tears of happiness to see them all together, Pillman helping Stu into the ring, Helen who Bret always seemed to adore as the best mother in the world, Owen with his son holding his action figure, Bulldog and Diana and yet tears of sadness knowing Pillman would die about three PPVs later, Bret would lose both parents but not before his beloved brother, the two young kids of Owen would grow up without a father and Bulldog is gone as well. If WCW took over WWF and that was the last WWF PPV I'd think it would be the best PPV to end on.

Simply the greatest match of all time, it was just so good. I also love how when Neidharts music plays the crowd goes quiet, then when he comes out the curtain they go nuts!

It was cool to see the Harts all come out separately, even Owen and Davey who were usually a team, and they all stay on the platform and come down the aisle together once Bret comes.
