I've been looking around, but I can't seem to find an action figure protective/display case that will fit the LJN figures. I have an autographed MOC Rick Rude that I've (obviously) had for years that I am afraid to display out on it's own due to the irreplaceable nature of it. So right now it's stashed away in a closet. I'd like to find a case that's the right size to display and protect it from damage.
I've seen the LJN stands for sale, but is there a case that's the right size that's on the market? I'm starting to think I may need to just go buy the materials and do it myself. Any help appreciated.

are you hoping to have individual stands for each LJN MOC that you have? or some sort of display case that holds them all?

No, just a protective case that holds the single mint on card figure, so I can display it without worrying about it getting damaged. Something similar to the clamshell style ones I've seen for Hasbro WWF and Star Wars figures in the past.

hopefully someone else will be able to help you, but the only thing I have ever seen for single LJN's are wood or aluminum stands that hold them up. Nothing that covers them.
A clam shell would be great. I have a HTM MOC and I always worry about the figures own weight knocking it over.

Displaying MOC LJNs is indeed very troublesome as they do tend to fall over. Cannot display them hanging up either as the bubble tend to rip off the card due to the weight of the figures.
Have never seen protected covers for LJNs either. They're about the only carded figures that I have not seen cases for.

It looks like I may be making a trip to the hobby shop and picking up some lucite sheets for a do-it-yourself project. If I'm going that route I may just make a little "fish tank" style case for it, then. Maybe one of those window box displays and an angled stand.

Thought of something..... some people get their figures AFR graded. Usually the graded figures are returned boxed in a hard plastic case. I think they grade LJNs to, so these big cases should exist.

good idea Stom. Once you said that, I remembered the last time I spoke with AFA, they said they will sell you just the display cases...without getting it graded. Phone them and ask them about that. They have many sizes.

Good thought. Thanks guys. I'll try that. *I just checked their web site. Here's the link to the page with price quotes for the cases they have for sale: www.toygrader.com/caseorder.aspxIt looks like it would cost about $34 to get a case from them. It would be cheaper and faster to make one myself for an LJN figure, but it's nice to know they have these for sale in case I want to use one of their style cases for any of the other figures I have in the lines they have listed.

i have 2 ljn's that are afa graded. You still need to store them flat however since the weight of the figure can still make the bubble rip off the card.

That's another reason it would be better to custom make a case. It looks like I'll have to make it deeper and use an angled stand. Thanks for the input. I had wondered if AFA would do anything to secure them and prevent that from happening, or just slab them in there as is.

Another, though expensive option, but for one fig it might be worth it, is a Doll or Cereal Box display cases they sell at art stores like Michaels or The Container Store. My father makes angled metal stands designed specifically for LJNs that I use to display a few of my signed LJNs, but I would like to find individual cases for them as well. I have so many MOC and Signed now that I want to display them, but fear dust/sun/etc.
Off Topic - Nice Vidtek Banner! Good to see another CotG player is an LJN collector too!
