TNA Impact Wrestling taping results for January 12:
* In a Steel Cage Match, Mickie James defeated Madison Rayne with the Mickie-DT. Gail Kim entered with Madison but went to the back.
* TNA Champion Bobby Roode said in an interview that he is done with Jeff Hardy after Genesis. He demanded Hardy come and shake his hand. Sting comes up instead and books Roode vs. Hardy for the title tonight.
* TNA Tag Team Champions Matt Morgan and Crimson def. Robbie E and Robbie T. After the match, Samoa Joe and Magnus attacked Morgan and Crimson.
* Segment with Eric and Garett Bischoff. Both trade insults and it ends with Garett pushing his father into the corner.
* ODB w/Eric Young defeated Winter w/Angelina Love via TKO. There was some involvement from EY and Angelina, including an airplane spin by EY on Angelina.
* AJ Styles wanted an answer from Kazarian for walking out on him during a tag match. Kazarian said he didn't have an answer. Daniels comes out to antagonize both.
* James Storm wanted a rematch with Kurt Angle. Angle said he already beat Storm and is moving on since he is now the #1 contender for the TNA Championship. Sting comes out and books Storm vs. Angle for the #1 contendership.
* James Storm def. Kurt Angle to become the #1 contender for the TNA Championship.
* Bobby Roode vs. Jeff Hardy for the TNA Championship ended in a no contest when Bully Ray pulled the referee out of the ring. Hardy had Roode pinned.
