Another LJN question for you guys. As most of you have probably read, I've completed my LJN collection except for a few variants.
One of those is the Hairy George Steele (painted chest hair).
I see there is a picture of one in the database, and that is the only one I've ever seen and I check ebay and google often.
I believe I read one time that the picture belongs to Stom and he wasn't sure if it was legit or marker. Is that correct Stom?
So my question is, does anyone own this figure or have seen it in person?

that's awesome. were did you find it? and if you don't mind me asking, how much did it go for?
What surprises me is the amount of George Steele's that are on ebay (one of the more regular ones) yet I have never seen the painted version.

Didn't pay much for the lot.... can't really remember how much. Took a small risk and it paid off. |

There was one listed on ebay that looked legit within the past 6 months. It was loose as well and I do not recall how much it ended up going for. I have seen a few loose ones but never a MOC sample.

well, I guess hearing from two of you means that I can keep my hope alive. I can't believe out of all the superstars in the ljn line, I'm having the hardest time finding a George Steele with ugly body hair.

I have never seen one MOC. That one looks just like STOM's. I have seen people on ebay try to paint the hair before, but it never looked authentic.

are there only 2 people with this figure out of all the thousands of members? ive had loads of steeles and never seen one apart from the back of the blister card.

The one on the back of the LJN card was not released. My Steele is pretty much the same as cwfpro's version with a little less wear. It's easily fakeable obviously. |
