You're not allowed to post running auctions... I believe they're legit, but not worth the £200 as he claims...

i asked him about the authenticity of these figures, i just got a reply:
Q: Hey, I got them from a guy who did Hasbro toy fairs at the NEC in Birmingham a few years back. He had 100s of MOCs and a few rare items, including the ones listed and a couple more. I asked the same question to him about their authenticity and he said they were available at Summerslam '92 and people were then sending away for after the event, to get their hands on the last few. I did see the Big Boss Man go for £200 last year as I have mentioned, so I believe they have significant value. Unfortunately, my lack of experience on ebay and the little information there seems to be on these items is probably having an effect. If I don't get a decent price I will just put them back in storage to increase there value. Hope this helps! Thanks for your interest.

All this really is, is someone who is upset that he can't get more than 50 cents each on those figures loose.. So he bags 'em up, and says they're worth so much more. He's a smart guy, but also a lying fellow. The only bagged figures I would trust are those that STOM has, which I am pretty sure are just the magazine ones, and also the JC Penny exclusives.

Its legit as a TV show in the UK called the DJ Kat Show was some dumbass puppet kat that hosted it at the time it was cool. Anyway they had a huge WWF competiton and had hundreds of figures and posters to give away and the figures came in bags.

Its all bollocks. They have the Hasbro info printed on a sticker and stuck on the bag. The first seller of these even took my "could they have been available this way...." story and used it in his auctions. AVOID. Only figures in bags in the UK were Hogan 1, Hogan 2 and Savage 1.

I bought one of these figures, a macho man uk mailaway.
The figure was in a Hogan Bag.
Which I thought, thats weird. Anyway i got it, the figure had paint wear, the bag had no air and looked really creased.
I bought it as a investigation. got a refund. stay away if you ask me.
(not that I doubt the real macho man 1 figure)

Here's my 2 cents on the bagged figures. To my knowledge, there were never any Wembley SummerSlam Exclusives. The bagged figures that pop up from time to time are ones that were available through the overseas WWF magazine catalog. In the US, Hasbro made some figures available but they arrived carded; the dark blue series comes to mind.
These are the only official bagged figures that collectors want:
Hogan I and Savage I -came w/the JC Penney's ring (also avaliable in the UK via some promotion; cereal possibly)
Hogan w/hug- UK mailaway
Bret/Hogan/Undertaker- WWF Mag. exclusives

And what about the DJ Kat show contest?

Only figure available through Summerslam at Wembley was the Bulldog. Stom posted pics I sent him a while back for a competition to win 1 of 100 available (just the reg figure). No one seems to know whether it came carded or bagged but these bagged figures on UK ebay are nonsense. I've never heard of th DJ Kat Show but I bought a Piper bagged figure to check it out and the bag is brand new with a sticker on the bag. DON'T be conned!

I can say for 110 percent fact that winners of the DJ Kat show comp got figures bagged. I really could not care less if people beleive me or not its up to them. Fact is I was 12 when this give away happened and I still remember it to this day. I mean for all I know the show just opened carded figures and sent them in a bag for cheaper postage or the factory did this. All I know is the one that I got which was Sgt Slaughter came in a plastic bag.
