Were Heenan and Gorilla involved with Superstars as well? I know they didn't commentate but during commercials etc. it would go to them. What was this about?
I have a bunch of Superstars tapes but sadly this parts are skipped over, i see a cutaway to them in the primetime center and than it cuts out. Not sure why i didn't tape that stuff.

They weren't part of Superstars. What you're watching is a recording from Prime Time Wrestlng, which regularly re-aired matches from the WWF's other syndicated shows, including Superstars. When Prime Time went to commercial, they'd cut to Gorilla & Heenan in the studio first. So the matches you're watching might have originated on Superstars, but your recording sounds like it's from Prime Time. |
