I found it weird too that Davey and Lex didn't get used on the ppv. They could have even had Lex Luger vs. British Bulldog on that card.

Also anyone know why the Allied Powers weren't used? They could have easily used Bulldog's heel turn at the event. If I remember correctly, I think the Bulldog interfered in the Diesel/Mabel match and Lex Luger came out and ran him off. And I believe that was the last televised WWF appearance of Lex Luger.

yeah, overall 95 was crap (and i was a big Diesel fan!) ,but to be fair WCW was no better, with the Vader-Hogan series that ended with Flair losing Vader's strap match for him ( truth!) ,then most of the rest of the year was Hogan/Savage vs. various members of the Dungeon of Doom....oh,yeah, Hogan also killed Paul Wight by making him fall off the top of an arena - til he got better later in the PPV...
only real saving grace that year was the birth of Nitro, and the official start of the Monday Night War....

I always found the transitional period of the 'New Generation' between the golden era and Attitude era to be quite 'testing' at the time. Looking back it is probably the period I watched least but I always recorded the big four at the time to watch. I now watch the Tagged Classics range from that era and quite enjoy it. I can't wait to start watching from circa WM3 onwards with my son (although he's still very young).
