Kinda weird they announced it so far in advance but I guess they wanted to announce it while most of the people knew who he was.

If only the WWE HOF really was a legit HOF Id be glad for Mil. I think the fact WWE is even recognizing him is a feat on it's own, more of a gesture toward his career than whether it's a "legit hall of fame". |

Seriously the hall of fame has Hogan, Flair, Michaels, Austin, Hart, Guerrero, Dibiase, Piper, Andre, Race, Rhodes, and so many more legendary names but still the IWC craps on it. So what if they put William Perry, Drew Carey, Pete Rose, and Bob Uecker in....they all had memorable moments in the WWE. |

Awesome. Im glad hes in. Heres hoping Savage or Warrior makes it in too. Also want Owen Hart to make it in but that probably wont work out.

I think you are a little harsh, i don't disagree that a lot of the names in this HOF should be in the WWE HOF, but WWE does a decent job on this i think. They try to add people based on where Wrestlemania is...Texas was Austin, Von Erichs and I believe the Funks which makes it special to the people in Texas. I think the try to limit it to 1 person who is no longer living to be inducted per year just for the sake of the speeches. Certainly Vince's grudges affect who has gone in..Savage off the top of my head, Bruno but i think he has refused. I think they have to take interest into consideration, they do have to fill a huge stadium and i think most fans don't know many older and foreign wrestlers, look at Inoki. I remember Hogan a couple years ago revealing the potential list of HOF'ers for the year and WWE asked him to vote so it is not just Vince's input. Personally I do like seeing a guy get inducted before he passes away or gets really old just for a story sake and many of the old school guys are just not going to give you that. Do you still think they could pack a stadium with guys people don't remember? Not trying to argue but i think this is a interesting debate. |

Good for him. Although I'm not the biggest fan of them putting in guys who never really did much in the wwe(i know he's in the 97 Rumble and made appearances throughout the 70s and 80s). I'd rather see Rick Martel or Rick Rude go in.

How is this still a spoiler? WWE posted it on their Facebook (including the video shot), yesterday. Oh well. Either way, since it's more of a wrestling Hall of Fame anymore, it's well deserved.

Exactly, it isn't a spoiler. It's a non-televised moment, this announcement will not be airing when SD airs on Friday. I'm sure those who read the spoilers weekly have read that much, and know that it won't be aired. |
