Just watching some videos on youtube and The 3 big matches The Rock gave at PPVs were pretty  ing epic No Way Out: vs Hogan Wrestlemania: vs Austin Backlash: vs Goldberg Hollywood Rock in 2003 is by far my favourite era of The Rock, shame it was such a short run  |

wasnt my favorite time of the Rock but it certainly wasnt bad.
my favorite time was face turn in April 99 through 2000.

Rock in 2003 was cocky/hillarious. The dude killed me with the country segment where he was singing. He could get so much heat.

I don't know if it's just me but if Rock came back with the same character imo there would've been a better fan split for Mania.

I don't know if it's just me but if Rock came back with the same character imo there would've been a better fan split for Mania. If they really wanted a split, the first thing they would need to do is have WrestleMania outisde of Florida. |

Yeah, other than maybe 98/99 heel Rock, my favourite version of Rock. The stuff he did was epic, and that intro to his entrance was awesome, mainly the extra long one at Wrestlemania.

His Rock Concerts and stuff with Hurricane were just incredible, honestly, a great example who to have humor in wrestling without making it look like a joke.

I don't know if it's just me but if Rock came back with the same character imo there would've been a better fan split for Mania. It's so funny how he was boo'd initially when he came back for leaving the WWE for sometime, and therefore started off as a heel. But his wit, charisma and just coolness just made fans cheer for him anyways. |

I also loved his match with the Hurricane and actually giving Jeff Hardy a try.
However my favourite Rock remains to be the Corporate Champion.
My overall favourite Rock match? vs Chris Jericho at No Mercy 2001.

IMO it was always a shame that thei "Hollywood" gimmick only lasted about 3 months. Rocky was definatly putting out 5 star promos and matches and was on a role. I would have loved to have seen Rocky go back to SD that year and feud w/ Angle and Taker w/ his new heel gimmick.

Rock was getting heat for selling out, so he made a gimmick out of it. And it was entertaining!
