Search ebay. co.uk for WWF jake the snake moc
Some guy is selling a Yellow Damian with the following description
"WWF Jake The Snake Hasbro YELLOW SNAKE
This is the holy grail of all hasbro figures, here is a spanish version of jake the snake roberts figure which came out in 1991 in spain. I have seen this figure twice before on ebay and it has always sold well over £120. The difference with this version of jake the snake is that instead of a dark green snake, a yellow snake is included which jake brought with him to the ring round the time the figure was produced. I have been told by various websites and wrestling message boards that only 50 of these were produced and taken of the market as the new improved dark green snake was on the picture included in the figure"
I did not know about this, could anyone fill me in? anyone else know?

 I have seen it before on eBay and on this board a few years ago. Don't know if it was from the same seller. What struck me then and now is that the snake does not fit into the bubble as it should. It also looks like the bottom of the bubble might have been opened up. It's also strange that it is on foreign card as one would expect that Hasbro would have release Jake on american cards first. So why would the first 50 of these be on spanish cards? I am not saying it is fake, but I found no documentation on this and have serious doubts if it's legit. |

The figure is ligit. I considered buying it from this seller because the price is good but his feedback wasn't that good. These figures were only produced in Spain until WWF realized the mistake was being made and pulled them. Not sure if any were sold in stores, but there were actually less than 50 made, making them rarer than the Kamala w/ moon, especially on a nice looking card like this.

These figures were only produced in Spain until WWF realized the mistake was being made and pulled them. A REAL Kamala with moon was only a production sample. Not that many were produced and NONE made it to retail. The timeline of when the Jake figures were produced (1990) and when the snake got switched to the lighter colored one do not match. When Damien was "squashed" Jake brought out a bigger green python called "Lucifer". He didn't carry the light colored snake "Revelation" until his run in 1995-96. It's far more likely that someone just got a bunch of Spanish carded Jake's when the warehouses got cleared out in the late 90s and they were more common than dirt, and has repacked them with the different snake in an attempt to get rid of them. |

Cheers for your responces. It seems strange that he claims he went on messages boards and was told this info. because surly we would have heard about it on here. Plus i agree with STOMWIJF completly!
