Here is Mikeys interview.
bpayton97: How do you feel about the end of ROP?
Mikey: I'm sad, but everything has an ending. It isn't the first time I've ended ROP, but it feels more final than anything I've done before.
bpayton97: What caused you to end ROP?
Mikey: The state of the board, mainly. This has been undisputedly my hottest year for ROP, I've put out so many shows that I feel are of a higher quality than anything I've done before, but I feel the mood around the board, combined with lack of replies and what I felt was, at times, a lack of interest in my fed made me feel it wasn't worth the tremendous effort I'd been putting in.
bpayton97: What do you think of the Pic Fed World Championship controversy?
Mikey: First off, I'd like to state that I was made aware of a campaign by certain members on Saturday to get your (bpayton97) show to #1 to "teach me a lesson". That's why I tried to get people to vote for any other show they liked, to try and negate the effects of the campaign against me. It wasn't fair that any other show should have to suffer because of an individual's dislike for me. The screencap (screenshot) of me on another forum taken completely out of context paints me as the villain, when I don't think that's true at all. I suggested something that I thought would get a good bit of excitement and activity on the board, and wanted people to vote for whatever pic fed show they felt was deserving, not just to prove a point against me.
bpayton97: Do you think the controversy is anyones fault?
Mikey: I'm not naming names, or pointing fingers. There was a group of people who voted for the KoH podcast, a few of whom I have no doubt did not feel that it was the best show of the month, and as such were trying to skew the outcome of the poll because of some vendetta against me.
bpayton97: What do you think the WFigs Pic Fed Board will become in the future?
Mikey: I think the board will be fine. there are always people coming and going, new shows being posted, old feds being ended. I've been around for 8 years, and I've seen it all before. The board will be fine.
bpayton97: Anything else you want to say?
Mikey: Just a thanks to everyone who ever enjoyed an ROP show, was influenced or inspired by it. The last ROP show, my "Teeth Like God's Shoeshine" i-PPV will be posted sometime soon, it makes no sense to withhold it from everyone.
Here is the interview with The Last Hero about the situation.
bpayton97: What do you think of the Pic Fed World Championship controversy?
The Last Hero: I don't think there was any to be honest. I did not agree with Mikeys way and I went about letting him know in the wrong way.
bpayton97: Do you think the controversy is anyones fault?
The Last Hero: I don't think it is anyone persons fault. Just a disagreement by two very thick headed people.
bpayton97: Anything else you want to say?
The Last Hero: No other than the fact the whole thing was stupid. And instead if talking to Mikey and saying " Hey, this could happen." I tried to show him, and everything got way overblown.
Raven Defeated; Necro Butcher Is New FIW Champion!

At the end of the summer of 2011, FIW took the spotlight with “As Good As It Gets.” Many people have said that the event took Pic Fedding to an entire new level. From Excalibur joining Colt Cabana at the commentary table, to Necro Butcher defeating Raven, the entire night was off the charts.
FIW is usually known for the amazing stunts that performers execute, but “Sick” Nick Mondo and Rob Van Dam entered the ring with the intentions on winning the unofficial, FIW Hardcore Championship. The ability that both of these wrestlers made this a fantastic match. Rob Van Dam came out with the win and retained the unofficial FIW Hardcore Championship. This was definitely a fantastic match, but not even close to the FIW Pure Championship match!
Chris Hero, El Generico, and CM Punk had a triple threat match for the FIW Pure Championship and tore the house down. Hero entered as FIW Pure Champion, but he didn’t walk out the FIW Pure Champion. After an innovative Brainbuster, Generico picked up the FIW Pure Championship. The match was so innovative that it can’t be described in words! The match was full of “pure” wrestling, but the one and only, Desmond Wolfe entered the ring and took all of the competitors out to solidify his name in FIW.
Brian Kendrick almost blew his head off in the ring to prove a point. Kendrick has created a following with Shane Storm and Jack Evans following him. FIW Officials had to grab the gun before Kendrick committed suicide in the middle of the FIW ring.
Raven and Necro Butcher had an amazing main event match for the FIW World Championship. This feud has had fuel added to the fire since Raven and Cactus Jack threw Butcher off of the balcony in the Hammerstein Ballroom. This match was extremely hardcore and showed that there is a new generation of wrestlers in the main event scene. Raven used tables to his advantage, but Butcher countered Raven’s strength to capture the FIW World Championship!
FIW proved that they are “As Good As It Gets” with this event. The next FIW show will have a lot to prove when trying to compete on the level of “As Good As It Gets.”
