Add Strait and Vitale to that injury list. Such an intentional ing high stick on Vitale. Terrible.

Seriously? They let up 2 goals? this team, they suck! Blow them up in the offseason and get some actual TALENT. A nice offensive game tonight, to put it lightly.

Save that rhetoric for the post-season With the exception of the second period, hell of an offensive effort. It was great seeing the rookies getting a bulk of the points tonight. That 4 on 3, 5 on 3, 5 on 4 penalty kill was phenomenal too.

Sabres stole a win in Montreal tonight thanks to Ryan Miller, they had no business leaving the arena with two points after being out shot 41-23.

Canucks are playing great, but man Lundqvist is playing amazing. Yep... Lundqvist is the reason the Rangers are winning. And going 0/7 (I think) is the reason were losing. But Luo will still get the blame.

Best part of tonight? Arguing with Canucks fans for the entire 3rd period. Oh they are fun to talk to. 0/8 on the PP. Just sad.... I can't wait until October is over.

Interesting game tonight. I was convinced Johnson blew out his knee on the save he made when they crashed the net and Niskanin fell on him. The guy got up and played like a boss that last bit though, I'll give him that. That, and Vitale's some kind of animal. The guy's running through everyone, he goes out when he gets sticked in the face, and comes back on the ice a bit later, stitched and bandaged up. What a beast.

Wild game against Carolina tonight. Definitely got out of hand near the end. Cam Ward acting like a hardass to reporters after the game about telling Rask to "get back in his net" was pretty dumb, and Gleason looked completely spineless on various occasions. Scoreboard is all that matters in the end, though.

If Salo is on the point on the first unit: we score on one of those PPs, and we win the game. But thats just me armchair coaching.

I can agree with that, i wish i could be an armchair gm. My NHL12 roster in second year is great, Nicklas Jensen is breaking out. This is my roster..
Evander Kane - Henrik Sedin- Daniel Sedin Burrows-Kesler-Jensen Brayden Schenn-Max Lapierre-Scott Thornton Tyler Pyatt-Jorden Schroeder-Zenon Kenopka
Douglas Murray-Shea Weber Dan Hamuis-Kevin Bieksa Jim Vandermeer - Yann Sauve
Corey Schneider (3.15/3yrs resigned) Roberto Luongo (Currently on Trading block)
completely cap compliant, and Jensen has7 goals in 11 games. the kid is solid.

I'm guessing you gave Hodgson away?

Yessir. Previous season, i traded Raymond and Hodgson, 1st for Weber. Then i traded Ballard/Samuelson to Minnesota for Setoguchi.
THEN
Winnipeg offered me Evander Kane/2nd, for Setoguchi. THEN i traded Burrows to Philly for Schenn for cap space to resign Schneider, and later i traded higgins/winnipeg's 2nd for Burrows.

Fun Fact: I went to the same primary, intermediate and high school as Evander Kane and my friend was the left wing on Ryan Nugent-Hopkins line in his bantam years.

Edmonton and Winnipeg are going to be some beastly teams in the next few years. Same with Colorado.
