Detroit gives Columbus their first win of the season. It helps when the calls go in Columbus' favor all game long, especially in the third when we were trying to come back. But it also didnt help that we werent generating much offense. Hopefully we show up against San Jose and get back on track.

Oh boy I hate Canucks fans. Fun night talking to them... Then do you hate yourself? Trying to distance yourself from the Canucks after losing to the Oilers? loljk. The Ducks are doing not too good themselves. Shootout loss... third straight non-win. But heck... any start for them would be better than last year's start.

Heard we are one of 3 teams going after Cody Franson, not a bad D-man right there. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Well, the Pens are finishing up their home-and-home set against the Islanders tonight. I'm curious to see if Gillies plays tonight for the Islanders since he didn't play on Tuesday when Malkin came back.

i really don't know what to think of the canucks right now. can't keep blaming goalies, hopefully they snap out of this horrible month.

Yeah you can't really blame your goalie when your team has been shutout 3 times this season so far. The Canucks should probably consider showing up in all aspects of the game That's not to say I don't love seeing the Canucks struggle because I think we all remember my stance on them during the playoffs

Elliot has been hot in between the pipes as of late. Hopefully Payne takes notice and makes him the official starting goalie. I guess people just know how to beat Halak now...or he was just a one hit wonder.

It's just amazing to me how defense just completely collapses in the absence of their captain. Factor in the constant bad bounces/deflections and it will make for some horrendous outcomes on the ice.
Usually my team does make me pull my hair out, but I didn't expect it to start this early.

So...you know, for Malkin hating having to shoot in shootouts as much as he's said he does in the past, he has gotten a couple of decent winners this season so far. Good stuff.

Yeah...What a waste. -Coburn....well.....is Coburn. -And the $50 million dollar man has "Zero confidence" and is "Terrible."

Wings have now lost four straight after winning five straight.... doesnt make any sense to me. Hopefully Babcock gets them going for the rematch vs Minnesota tuesday.

Really? Are the Leafs that great that they can put that many on the Pens? Really now? Crazy game.

Really great hockey game last night. Great hockey, great display of skill on the ice by both teams and i personally think Lappy might be the most solid 4th liner in the league. Everybody contributed for 60 minutes, and that's what they've gotta do. After that huge save in the 3rd by Luongo, it appeared that he was starting to get his swagger back.
I dunno why the guy is such an emotional dude, but just hearing the crowd chant his name finally was like a game changer for him.

So who are the top prospects that the Bruins should be looking at with the #1 pick in 2012?
