The End of an Era: A Tribute To ROP By bpayton97 Pic Fed Enterprise [/b] The ending to the eight year long fed known as Ring of Poison has been very controversial in many minds lately. Trust has been lost, and people have stopped communicating because of the controversy surrounding the Pic Fed World Championship voting. “I feel that one of the greatest, Indy-style Pic Feds has sadly, and prematurely, come to an end.” WFigs Pic Fed Moderator, StingerSplash said. Independent Wrestling has became the main style of pic feds on the WFigs Pic Fed Board currently. The founder of ROP, Mikey, has been known as an inspiration for many pic feds. “I’m sad to see it (ROP) go. Seems like something Mikey put a lot of passion into.” Deskjet said. The world of Pic Fedding has been shaken up in many peoples opinions since the controversial end of ROP. Controversy stems from direct issues of the “system” and a “lesson” that needed to be taught. “Do me a favor though...go to the Pic Fed World Championship voting..vote for BRP..” was said from an anonymous source in a private message made public. The world of Pic Fedding has certainly lost a great, and the Pic Fed Enterprise would like to thank Mikey for his wonderful fed known as Ring of Poison (ROP) and the amazing eight year run of ROP! The 1st words of...By Regan (RCW) Pic Fed Enterprise[/b] Today, we look at one of the newest talents here on the pic fed board and one of the oldest. Micro & Mitch, WWE: Alt & WWEF Raw. WWEF Raw, a veteran fed on the pic fed board started way back in early 08' as a text fed but now a pic fed. It is now edging towards the 40th episode. I managed to get an interveiw with the creator of WWEF Raw and after the 3 years he has been here it was the 1st interveiw he has ever given. 1) What inspired you to start WWEF? In 2008 there were just so many great pic feds. I would just pop in and out of the pic fed board not only here but on other forums as well. I would even watch pic feds on Youtube. When I was just getting into pic fedding there were guys like Slash and DJ who I loved to just sit down and watch in my free time and I always thought, "I would love to be apart of that" and "I would love to be well known like these guys" I would like to think that I have accomplished that, seeing that DJ and I work together to make WWEF better. 2) Who is your favourite pic fedders? Well, like I couldn't see that one coming.... Its just so hard to choose, I can't even make a decision but there must be at least 3-4 guys that will always have my support. 3) Anything big planned for episode 40, will it be full show or highlights? Episode 40, WOW!!!! Hmmmmm, well I'm not going to give to much away but as some may have seen I updated the WWEF Schedule over on the pic fed discussion. Episode 40 will see the debut of The Creator Of WWEF himself in figure form. Plus the biggest battle royal WWEF has ever had. Thats all I'm going to say and I'm hoping to make it a FULL SHOW!!!! 4) What camera do you use? Would you believe that in the early days of WWEF I only had the option to use a camera phone!!! But to be honest the picture quality was decent (for a camera phone). But today I use Kodak easyshare C643 (I know you are going to be looking it up on google in a minute) with a tripod. 5) Do you have any useful tips do newcomers? I love the thought of the board getting new members and HAVING A GO and just remember, if you start off weak, keep going. Keep pumping out shows, keep watching other shows, get a feel of how pic fedding works. Practice your posing when not filming and just have fun. Also, if you think negative you will get a negative outcome but if you think positive, you will get a positive outcome. He would also like to thank everyone on this board for supporting WWEF. We then come to the new talent, Micro. His 1st episode only a few days ago but already many class him as one of the best. His fed is WWE: Alt and I managed to get an interveiw with him, his 1st interveiw. The 1st words from Micro... 1) Who inspired your pic fed? There were several show that inspired me while I was looking through the Picture Fed forum. Shows like ROP, HLW Nitro, WWEF, FIW, WCM, and WWEML feature great storylines, posing, commentary, customs, and presentation. Each show brings something cool to the table and made me push myself to try to add to the entertainment!2) Who is your favourite pic fedder? I have to tip my hat to WCM's Izzy, his show is in a whole other world! He sets the environment and gritty atmosphere so well, it makes you feel like your walking through those dingy abandoned buildings, boiler rooms, and offices. The seedy underground of professional wrestling never looked better and the characters hook you in with their off-beat insanity. I knew I was going to use a comic style in my show before seeing WCM but it really cemented my choice and showed me the potential of that format!3) What camera do you use? I'm using a Nikon D40 SLR, I really like the manual focus capabilities it gives me! I also have an old Canon Powershot SD1100 but I only use it for capturing video now.4) What gave you the idea of WWE: Alt? Hmm, good question! When I started to seriously plan my own fed, I wanted to do something different. I knew I was going to stick to mainstream WWE, because of my Elite collection, but didn't want to turn it into the Cena vs Orton Show. WWE Alt gives me a chance to rewrite WWE history in my own twisted way and that's fun! To me, it's like asking a lot of "What if...?" questions and playing with it. Sometimes, just the figure itself can suddenly inspire me too. Jack Swagger kinda wrote himself after I swapped the smiling head on the red, white, & blue WM Elite body and put Hacksaw's American flag in his hand!5) Where do you see yourself in a year's time? Hopefully, working on WWE Alt: Wrestlemania! I can be a bit scatter-brained and jump from one creative project to another but I tend to stick to things that are fun. The next few shows will be a test for me to see what kind of schedule I can maintain. I spent a lot of time putting this show together, though, so I'm sure I'll stay with WWE Alt for a while. I have several wacky stories that I really want to try out!Sp there we have it. The 1st ever words with one of the oldest members/fed and one of the newest! Keep an eye out for my interveiws and articles in the next issue of Pic Fed enterprise. [/center]

Very cool articles, thanks for posting them! The tribute to ROP is a bittersweet read but a very appropriate acknowledgement to a great show. An eight-year legacy is an incredible achievement and Mikey is a Hall of Famer in my book!
I really like seeing the contrast in Veteran & Rookie interviews. I think it's cool to get the insight and advice from established pic fedders. It's also encouraging to give new members their own moment in the spotlight.
I'm very flattered to be included in this premier edition! Like you said, my show has only been around for a couple of weeks so it blows me away that I get to be mentioned alongside ROP and WWEF, two of my inspirations. I appreciate it, guys, and I look forward to seeing more of these articles!

And for you to put out something like this is WRONG on so many levels. ROP ending had NOTHING to do with what went down with the poll. This article is nothing more than an opinionated uneducated and a malicious attempt at slander. Nice try though, I won't say the reasons Mikey ended ROP. He can do that, I can tell you though it had nothing to do with me. To everyone else involved in this project. I enjoyed reading your interviews and articles. They were very well thought out questions and responses.

Em, Ben this is my older article, remember I changed it a bit?
Nevermind, your article's good too, although i'm not sure it was 100% truth and fictional.
It will be interesting to see what Mikey has to say.

It will be interesting to see what Mikey has to say. Well, my article is based off of quotes I have gotten. The ROP article will likely have a follow up too it because Mikey wants to say some things. If anyone else has thoughts they want to express in the second ROP article, then feel free to PM me.
