We used to have a Pic Fed World Championship on the board here, but it never really lasted. I've seen "pic fed battles" on other boards but i've never really been a fan of that. I'd like to see the title brought back though, it's just a cool thing to have. Here's what I propose, and hopefully everyone can have a little bit of input on it and we'll see what happens;
- On the 1st or 2nd of every month, we put up a poll, with all of the shows posted in the previous month. The post is up for a week, which gives everyone enough time to post a show.
I think it'd be a great idea, it would give people somewhat of a motivation to post at least one shows a month (which isn't that hard a task, really, even if it's just a podcast type thing like me). I know certainly if I was defending a title, I'd wan to keep it, just out of pride.
I'm interested to hear everyone's thoughts on this, I think it's a good idea, and i'd be happy to take responsibility for it if you're busy, StingerSplash. Also, does anyone have the old image? It was in wwefan619's sig for ages, but it's gone now.

Yeah, maybe World Title for 1st place, IC title for second place. Just to give people a reason to post around here, now that summer's over.

Would love to see it, and the IC title held by Tom? brought back. Yeah i was the champion, i was supposed to verse Colt and The Champ is here in a triple threat ladder match at the second show . |

I think it would be a great addition, Mikey.
But, like you said: if you want to take charge of it for a while, I'm good with that too. I have literally NO free time right now, so it's been really tough to find time to post on here, and I apologize. I hope that everything will calm down in the next few weeks. Just alot of hectic things going on in life right now.

It looks like it's something that's all in good fun, so I like it! As you mentioned, it might even help motivate us to keep up a regular schedule during slumps. I think it's cool that the animators have championship belts for their sigs, so I like this idea!

I thought the titles were a head 2 head thing? The titles used to be a "head 2 head" type deal, but I feel that when people put out less shows during the non-summer months, the idea would flop if I were to ask them to produce special matches for the titles. Really exactly what PFI has been doing since July. =/ Except it isn't exactly the same. Over on PFI, you guys do pic fed battles, which I feel wouldn't really work here right now, so I'm proposing something different, where we essentially just vote on the best show, so it isn't exactly what you guys have been doing. As far as both boards having "world titles", WF had one ages ago, I just want to bring it back. Do we have any joy with finding the old title belt pictures, or will I create new ones? I'm gonna start the first poll on the 1st October, so you've got 2 weeks if you wanna be in contention for the first "title match" as it were. |

Yeah was it the jackson 5? Back Street boys? Nysnc? Hanson?!?!?! Some people need to focus on letting things go like you guys have and move on. Shifty... you don't fed... you don't reply..you come on here to give these guys crap and it is bullcrapat this point. Let it go please. Anyways..what do you guys think about this? Start it at Figamania with the three judges voting... Go by the match the one with the most votes is the world champ... IC is who ever comes in second place. Now, the highlight guys need a fair shake and here is how we do that... Do it by the match... that way A) we do not need to submit a whole show B) Highlight guys can choose to film a whole match if they so choose. c) The people involved can choose what match they want to represent their show. |
