Thank you guys for the input. first to mallet-thanks for the idea. I actually had thought of this too, but the thing is then it gets to convoluted. If I'm setting the card, then I'm not giving other people much of a choics. let's say i pick Punk vs Flair for the world title, but someone else really had their heart set on Punk vs Raven in a hardcore match. I think more people would be turned off to have to do a match in a divsion with wrestlers they really dont want...so then let them pick who they want, you might ask? then essentially we're back to the same thing I proposed. the other thing with haveing the board as a fed like that is that you have to constantly communicate with people. so i have to PM pooky to tell him i want to have Orton fighting for the IC title, so change the storyline, etc, etc. Do you see what I mean? You need to constantly keep up iwth what everyone else is doing, and that in and of itself becomes a job. Am i understanding you correctly? ratedwa-you can use that match if you want. speaking of which, I think a rule should be that you use your own fed, and match, and to safeguard against that, you have to have the WFPF or the PPV logo somewhere in your arena...something to think about. colt-Dyamex is working on a logo for us now:) Keep the questions and concerns coming guys, things can be tweeked. the most important thing is to get those cameras rolling making that match for March!!! Mallett, that's something I've been dreaming of doing. A set pic fed with multiple members. Initially thats how I envisioned WFCW to be. An open pic fed for whoever wants to further the storyline or end it. I can also understand deskjet's concern and how we need to communicate to each other to further stories. However, I think what mallett is proposing is that WFPF should be free flowing. As he said on this statement "They can either further the storylines, or end them there. Something like that anyway." We don't have to consult one another whether we can or cannot further the storyline or not, that would be up to the voters to choose which match they think should be the one. Am I making any sense? So the only thing that would be set should be the division class, Hardcore division should always be hardcore match, same as Tag and legends. Basically, posers should submit their proposed matches, or make it as a surprise. Example: WFPF's first PPV "genesis or whatever" World Championship match Raven vs. Punk- Dyamez Raven vs. Flair - Mallett Orton vs. Cena - Deskjet Let's say I won and on that particular PPV, Punk won from Raven. Therefore, the next PPV match should be Punk vs. any other wrestler/s to defend the title unless the poser makes a totally different match with an explanation why Punk did not defend the title. (total match changes SHOULD HAVE a segment or promo prior to the match to promote continuity to WFPF's storyline) In the end voter's would still choose which one they think would be better for WFPF *************************************************** WFPF's 2nd PPV "Whatever goes from here" Punk (C) vs. warrior - Dyamez Punk (c) vs. Flair - Mallett Punk (c) gets injured, Flair vs. Raven for the vacant title - deskjet - so in a way there's continuity to the story but it would be up to the poser to choose whether he would further the storyline or change it altogether. again it's just a suggestion and I also understand that this would limit the wrestlers being used and as desljet says, in a way it may turn into a job, however, this would also define WFPF as a legit pic fed. In the end of the the PPV you would see that the matches that won would be the ones that stick. The logo will be up before the end of the week. Sorry, if anybody wants to send a logo suggestion send it straight to deskjet, everyone's Point of contact re: WFPF as of the moment. So at the end of voting, will someone put up a freewebs (or w/e) of the PPV winners?

Sorry, if anybody wants to send a logo suggestion send it straight to deskjet, everyone's Point of contact re: WFPF as of the moment. Some glaring problems I see with this, that's if I understand it correctly. If indeed we are assigning people matches, then in essence we ar making people do 2 pic feds..this one and there own. the original proposal allowed for members to integrate their own feds into this format. Furthermore, it obligates people to do a match for the next show, so they can continue a storyline. Again the origianl format allows the freedom to post a match or not when you want. Let's say I take a ppv off, then decide to make my comback and go after the World title again...I ccant do that if I cant take time off for the sake of keeping a storyline going. Using your example, lets say, you use Punk in the World title picture, does that mean now that no one else can use him? Then you have people voting for reasons other than who put on the best match, you have them voting on who they want as a champion, which is not really the goal of this type of fed but rather individual feds. Personally, I think a fed that has that type of involvement would be better suited for 2 or 3 people. Furthermore, think of the build up..."deskjet makes his return to WFPF, can he knock off the current 2x World champion Dyamez " And let me say this guys, this is for us. In no way am i trying to push my program only through. I just wanna make sure we look at all sides of the coin in order to have the best and most convenient product for everyone. I enjoy bouncing the ideas around so keep em comin ;D. I will eventually devise an outline of rules/Guidelines, etc wants we get things ironed out. Thanks

You got that spot on. All the problems you raised are indeed the flaws of my suggestion as opposed to yours. Basically, you are focusing on the match maker right? this determines who the real Bad*ss is in terms of making a match. Most likely the major criteria here is the match quality. In my suggestion, it focuses both on the continuity of the WFPF itself, the quality of matches, and the hype given. I can't deny that the limitations you gave, yes they are indeed there. LoL. That's where the difference between ideas lie. And again, when I envisioned this, I was thinking of a Pic fed with multiple interaction. And I totally appreciate your idea of a PPV focused on to the member, not necessarily the pic fed. Am I getting it right? Yeah, if mallett or my idea pushes through, there is a slim chance that matches from existing feds can be submitted. I still remember this was how the posing board did their PPV's, with the limitation of having a stipulation to determine who the better poser is. Wow, at least we have some kind of activity on the Pic fed boards. Whatever plan pushes through, I think this would revitalize the board a bit. And for some odd reason, I imagine a bi-monthly awards show from your suggestion deskjet. Muleface, I think i'll also gunning for the IC title.. See you there buddy..

Great suggestions, I just think your looking at a quick burnout due to all the other factors involved. Real quick, if you guys wanna announce your matches that's cool, just be sure to get the FULL MATCHES (links) AND DIVSION CHOICE TO ME before March 5(I'll make this official later). Also, you may want to keep the divsion you are choosing a surprise, it may encourage or discourage people, simply a suggestion Also, LET THE SMACK TALK BEGIN ;D..feel free to do shoot promos like you would with the guys in your fed, as long as it's done respectfully

I think someone was going to do an archives site. Matches are submitted to me then I'll post them on the main board. Hopefully for someone to sticky ;D PS-Bring it on!
