I will have a deadline to when matches need to be submitted. Everyone will submit their matches to me when they are finished. I will make a thread that has the Divisions and the matches under each division(Like FIGAMANIA) So when you submit your match, you need to tell me what divsion you want it under...I will have more details about later, as I update. You can also send your votes to me. I'll spearhead everything so the mods arent overwhelmed, but the next ppv, hopefully someone else will step up and be the go to guy...hopefully. Sorry I'm not in. I'll tell you why. I can see this falling through. Figamania had 3 shows. How that going to improve with more shows. And if it does happen people are gonna stop doing shows as they are doing one match. So the dimise of pic fed show start. Also the concept bugs me. Basically what your saying is that some just does a show and hands it in, but into a division. So what if everyone does a hardcore match? Or the champion didn't hand in the hardcore match and did a tag match? Would the person doing the hardcore match against him win it? And what if there's one person in every 'division'? So that's my feelings on this so as before I'm out [/dragons den]

So basically, you're just saying leave things stagnant the way they are? Have you looked on the board lately, pic fed shows are dead anyway. What this proposal does is allow anyone, fed owners and those who dont want to do a whole fed to get involved. Why cant people still do their pic fed and add one of their matches into WFPF. It gives them two months to get something worked on. So what if everyone does a hardcore match? And? then you pick the winner of the Hardcore divsision. If only one person does a match in a divsion then that person is the champ. If they dont defend at the next show then, the title is vacant. There's still some bugs that need to be worked out. What disturbs me is just the lack of all around interest. Perhaps it's just best to not do anything and have the board get shut down, or people can step up and try to fix the problem. Look, I understand your concerns. I've seen the highs and lows of pic fedding. If there's only 3 to 5 people interested then, you're right it's not gonna work, but I think we owe it to each other, that if we actually care about this board, to at least make an effort to revitalize it.

For me, I'm pretty much done with a full time fed, but sometimes I get the urge to do a match. Ok, so why not do that and submit it with a chance to win a title...no harm, it's fun. It might start out slow, but then maybe it'll pick up. Bottom line is, if people dont want to do it then it's gonna fail anyway, but you'll never know unless you try.

Not all people are commited to do a full time fed. I can see this as an opportunity to cater to both full time and part-time posers. Heck, even occasional posers can enter this.

This is almost the same as the posing thread's PPV.

A suggestion though:

Exactly. And yes, the Hcore division has to be a hrdcore, tag team has to be a tag team, Legends has to be a legends....but you can feture Legends in any divsion, Hardcore match in any division. Tag team matches are the only ones that are exclusive to tag teams...more clarification to come

That's fine. But sorry I really don't belive in it. I can see it going down. Good luck with it but I've seen alot of stuff go wrong on the ani board and the stick board, it starts up great and then it fades.

Also the pic fed board isn't the only board on the down. the stick and poses board are on rough times. 2007 was a bad year for the whole of wrestling and everything around it. '08 is gonna pick it up again. And the same goes for everything

So basically, by your intentional omission, you are actually contributing to the failure of the proposed program and in essence the continual demise of the pic fed board.

It's one thing to quit if it doesnt work, it's another to quit before it even starts. I guess I'm wondering, how having one match is gonna hurt you or anyone esle for that matter? I'm hoping this will attract some vets back into the game, if after the 2nd ppv, it doesnt work, then so be it.

It's appv every two months. Like figamania, you enter your match but in a certain divsion..ie...heavyweight. Other people add their matches, choosing any divsion they want, then people vote on the best match in the divsion. The highest vote gets to be champion of that division. You;ll get a belt to put in your sig. At the next ppv, you'll have to submit another match in order to defend your title. If you dont, it becomes vacnat and can be won by someone else. There are 4 divsions for now-Heavyweight, Intercontinental, Tag, Legend. read through my origianl post and see if that helps too

as much as i think something like this is a good idea, i dont like the idea of it. Surely having a fed consisting of a set roster, and then assigning people matches to do, would be better. Someone in charge (Deskjet for instance) sets the card, and people pick what match to do. They can either further the storylines, or end them there. Something like that anyway.

I dont like the fact that people will do a match and wont be picked for it. Also, people can lose belts by not doing an actual match.

just some thoughts.

Thank you guys for the input. first to mallet-thanks for the idea. I actually had thought of this too, but the thing is then it gets to convoluted. If I'm setting the card, then I'm not giving other people much of a choics. let's say i pick Punk vs Flair for the world title, but someone else really had their heart set on Punk vs Raven in a hardcore match. I think more people would be turned off to have to do a match in a divsion with wrestlers they really dont want...so then let them pick who they want, you might ask? then essentially we're back to the same thing I proposed. the other thing with haveing the board as a fed like that is that you have to constantly communicate with people. so i have to PM pooky to tell him i want to have Orton fighting for the IC title, so change the storyline, etc, etc. Do you see what I mean? You need to constantly keep up iwth what everyone else is doing, and that in and of itself becomes a job. Am i understanding you correctly?

ratedwa-you can use that match if you want. speaking of which, I think a rule should be that you use your own fed, and match, and to safeguard against that, you have to have the WFPF or the PPV logo somewhere in your arena...something to think about.

Keep the questions and concerns coming guys, things can be tweeked. the most important thing is to get those cameras rolling making that match for March!!!

Mallett, that's something I've been dreaming of doing. A set pic fed with multiple members. Initially thats how I envisioned WFCW to be. An open pic fed for whoever wants to further the storyline or end it. I can also understand deskjet's concern and how we need to communicate to each other to further stories.

However, I think what mallett is proposing is that WFPF should be free flowing. As he said on this statement

We don't have to consult one another whether we can or cannot further the storyline or not, that would be up to the voters to choose which match they think should be the one. Am I making any sense?

So the only thing that would be set should be the division class, Hardcore division should always be hardcore match, same as Tag and legends.

Basically, posers should submit their proposed matches, or make it as a surprise.

Example:


WFPF's first PPV "genesis or whatever"

World Championship match

Raven vs. Punk- Dyamez

Raven vs. Flair - Mallett

Orton vs. Cena - Deskjet

Let's say I won and on that particular PPV, Punk won from Raven.
Therefore, the next PPV match should be Punk vs. any other wrestler/s to defend the title unless the poser makes a totally different match with an explanation why Punk did not defend the title. (total match changes SHOULD HAVE a segment or promo prior to the match to promote continuity to WFPF's storyline)

In the end voter's would still choose which one they think would be better for WFPF

Punk (C) vs. warrior - Dyamez

Punk (c) vs. Flair - Mallett

Punk (c) gets injured, Flair vs. Raven for the vacant title - deskjet

- so in a way there's continuity to the story but it would be up to the poser to choose whether he would further the storyline or change it altogether.

again it's just a suggestion and I also understand that this would limit the wrestlers being used and as desljet says, in a way it may turn into a job, however, this would also define WFPF as a legit pic fed. In the end of the the PPV you would see that the matches that won would be the ones that stick.
