Yeah, the Black Shirt Man dude, was gonna mention him. He's a perfect example of an altogether different format. That chinese dude ruled too. Showed everyone that you can watch a foreign language fed without subtitles and still be captivated...

Yeah its so dead, im not even going to post my fed on here, well maybe the first show. And how is not posting your fed be of any help to the dead board? It's either too bad for WF forums to view or you think your fed is too good for us.. tsk tsk..

I really think the problem is that some people just expect way too much.
I have thought many times about trying a pic fed on this board, as I ran a pretty good one on another board using BCA figures a few years back.
But I don't have the time, or the energy to document every second of every match, every movement of the leg as someone crosses the ring, or the time to manipulate string so that high flying moves look perfect.
The whole string thing just blows my mind...holding the figures feet or arm, or hand and then cropping the picture is just so much easier.
I have seen people get reamed on here for not using string...these people are posting this stuff for your enjoyment, if you don't like it....if it's not good enough for you....don't read it. There is NO need to call them lazy, or tell them that there hours of work suck.
In closing, the problem on this board is unrealistic expectations of every single show posted being like Wrestlemania.

^^ i'm sorry, in a sense i agree with you about certain expectations and how hard it is to produce a show but on the other hand, you are the one who would accept teh criticism or not.
I mean you can immediately lock you post if you don't want replies and just for teh sheer thrill of sharing your fed, right?
wrestling fans in general are unpredictable, borderline undecided.
There are ROH marks, WWE, TNA, or original ECW ones.. whatever their preferences are, we can only cater to a portion of it.
I would like to quote allen iverson on this.. "if there's a million people that hate me and i know that there is one person the is there to see me, i'll perform for that person"
So if you love pic fedding, concentrate on your fans rather than the haters.
There are people who bust their A** to create that "wrestlemania-esque" feel on every show because that's what they want and they get rewarded by awesome replies too, people appreciate hard work.
It's kinda unfair but that's the challenge. It's really tough to penetrate the pic fedding board.

The bottomlines are... ... new blood is needed, or old veteran's need to make a comeback, much like in real wrestling! If it's good, people will read it and enjoy it.

I really dont want to start anything but if you're sticking to PFZ and no more WF, why do you keep posting here? I mean I think the the premece of the PFZ is cool, but its not going to help this board any like said before, not to mention all ive seen on there in the pic fed area is the same stuff thats posted here so its not like anyones missing anything...
Granted, I feel like garbage for not giving replies to shows Ive viewed and I appologize. I have viewed these boards on and off since the site came around, the only thing I can really conclude on to why these boards are dying is that yeah, everyone is getting older and there are a lot of responsibilites that come with that, thus the lack of intrest... another thing is the lack of exposure? Yeah thousands of people buy figs everyday but there is nothing that points them in the WF's direction.
I myself would love to do a fed, more than anything. Hell I've had almost 10 years of inspiration and motivation built up but like many, time is against me... Something keeps me coming here and I cant explain what it is...
Yeah, there are those who maybe want to much because theyve seen the FCW's and the PWF's and compare everything to that quality. That just goes with preferance. Why people (myself included) cant bother to leave a simple reply is beyond me. Another thing, bailing on this board just because its dead isnt going to help any, hell if you get more of a response anywhere else Ill be suprised...
For those who do have a fed personally I would like to thank you for dedicating your time to something that really goes uncreditted.
Most of that ish was random rants I suppose....If any actual point got across karma would be appreciated...just kidding.

^ I agree with alot of stuff you said like the time it takes to do a fed and the fact that people cant leave a simple reply. But apparently people are really concerned about this and alot of people are trying to steup up. so thats cool. i really dont think pic fedding is dead just yet. we still have some great feds (BWF, MWFA, etc...) and we have some new feds with alot of potential.

Well any reason is acceptable! But getting older & busier is out of the question! Look at me! I'm 28 & have my own little bussiness! I have the time even a little(1 hour a day to be exact)time! It's just when you enjoy it(even without a single reply) you're just going to keep on doing it as long as you want!
P.S. Ask Dyamez! We're both grown ups! But still, kids at heart! ;D

Welp, I wann chyme in here. First of all it saddens me to see the state of the board. This was and still is a community in and of itself. I dont think theirs a quick fix solution but there are some ideas that I've looked at that would in a revitlization.
1. Replying is a job! I think if there was a format, as someone suggested to replying, it would make it easier. Perhaps a point system where there are categories ranging from 1-10 on how you thought the show was: Creativity, Poses, Storylines, Pic quality, character development, etc. You paste a format on the reply and just punch in the numbers to the category. At the end, if you want to make additional comments, you can but dont have to. Hopefully, as with any reply, people are actually taking the time to look at your show. There's really no way to gaugue that, but this way, at least people wont feel pressured to make long drawn out replies. Generallly, I dont watch entire shows anyway, I just glanced through, and got a general feel, stopping at something that looked cool.
2. do what you are comfortable with. Look pic fedding, even for one match takes time. Part of the problem is that people want a 6 match show every week. Sorry, aint gonna happen like that. So fedders need to take the pressure off themselves and repliers need to be more understanding. You may need to change your format to magazine style, or bi monthly ppv's. That doesnt take away from the sho, in my opinion. If people are able to follow the storylines, and get good quality out of the show, then it really shouldnt matter what format you use. But again, Pic fedders need to be ok with downsizing and repliers just need to be realistic. Would you raher see your favorite pic fed in some form every other week or every other month?
3. A suggestion: PIC FED BOARD itself as a federation. Each month show a monthy ppv.
Have the matches submitted split into categories: World Title matches, Hardcore title matches, Tag Team Title Matches, Intercontinental Title matches, etc. the pic fedders then choose if they want to submit a world title match, Hardcore, IC, tag team, etc type of match to the ppv. After the ppv, viewrs vote on the matches in each category and the winner of that category is the champion of that category. At the next ppv...the champs submit anothe match in the World title category with other people challenging with their matches, again after the ppv...you vote. So it allows for people to win the title, retain it, or go for another one at each ppv. All the while you are only asked to submit one match(at the least)
...ok this is all a bit wordy, so I'll try to devise something on the board

Not sure about monthly but maybe every two months so people can also have time for their shows. Also I may try a pic fed magazine.
