*Everyone Please Read*

As most of us have realized, this board has gone down very fast. We are lucky to get 5 posts a day in these boards and we have to fix it. Myself and you guys have come up with some way to get this board running again because I'm not going to post a show thats going to have 5 replies and I know a few others too. We need to get this working again, just like the old days. Now I know that some big fed's have gone but that now leaves room for more big feds to show up around here. If you have any opinions please post them here.

TBH, it's been said that we need more replies and stuff. All the boards are low at the moment, the stick one, the poses one and the animation one. Not sure about the text fed board and others. You can't really expect people to put a new show up every week, it would drain them. I'm doing a show, I have ideas and the set up. But I for one aren't going to be like filming, resizing, commentary, posting and around again. If people want this board up again they need to actually reply to the show and not put reply later. On the other hand Boogey man and dymez(So sorry I spelt your name wrong, I think it wrong anyway ) they get shows up and reply, but the shows are up every month.

So in short, people can do shows in a short time but there's never gonna be loads of posts simply because of the long process of doing it.

yeah i feel the same way. thats one of the reasons i made a pic fed. the first show got a good response so im gonna keep doing it. i am going to post a show this sunday. so i hope more people step up. im shooting for newcomer of the year lol.

I agree. The things that motivate me to put up a show are:

1.) The replies
2.) Trying to be better than the best on the board
3.) Trying to keep up with WFCW slam (boogeyman's fed) in terms of episode count.
4.) Sheer fun of posing and taking pics.

I understand it's a real B*tch to setup the arena, break my backposing and using strings then if i havent finished the pictorial during the day, i have to fix everything up again since i can't a fford an arena setup lying around my room. I swear my baby daughter will massacre my figures.

Anyway, the best way i can see this working is to devise some sort of template or form to ensure better replies. Here's one i saved from the posing board, just a sample though, of course things should be different in pic fedding.

Positions: Are they good? Bad? Realistic? Stiff? Is the poser keeping in mind minor details?
Lighting: Is it poor? Is it good?
Angle: Did they choose a generic angle? Did they vary the angle? Is the angle interesting? Does the angle let you see everything in the pose?
Flow: Does it seem like the move flows? Does the poser need more frames?
Height: Whenever it's a move that involves a figure in mid-air, does the height look realistic or not?

With all due respect to kc of course. He's a great pic fedder and he's one of those viewrs that i really look forward whenever i do a show, he's so detailed in providing comments! but i think its time for Champ to spearhead this mod.

I'm looking into this, I did a preview show, sadly it wasn't really well-received because it wasn't well.. a full-blown out picture federation with 50, 60 pictures for each matches. Because I only did pictures that did high-light of the matches.

I'm still interested in doing a pic fed though, but it would take on a magazine format style, kinda like Deskjet, I believe that was the guy who did it.

And i must say that it was good, thing is some of the pic fedders here want some kind of format to follow.

Have you seen that chinese guy's fed? I mean it's not hosted, not anyone understands what the F is written but it got so many views and replies because its different and it's good.

Tell you what, try to continue what you love doing and people may remeber you as one of those guys that initiated change in pic fedding. It's always good to have some alternative.

I think the problem is...

TOO MUCH BASHING

TOO LITTLE FUN

Some feds are superb, some are awful, some are in between...

Not everybody has the ability or the time or the patience or the resources to put up the perfect show. But they get ripped apart and some won't even give it a try...

This should be like punk music, damn some punk bands suck, but they have a cool message or something that makes it worth listening...

Some feds are picture perfect, but they suck storywise... some do the 60 picture match, and it gets too long.. some are more simple, but the story being told captivates you...

LET PEOPLE BE CREATIVE

LET PEOPLE TRY DIFFERENT STUFF

Why does every fed have to have an "x" amount of matches and each match an "x" amount of pics to be good?

How about shorter webisodes? How about MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch style "One Fight Per Episode" style? How about Twisted Toyfare Theatre style stories?

Let's let people do different stuff and be creative and not just aim for the perfect replica of an actual WWE show that is just TOO DAMN HIGH of a goal for some of us (myself included).

I check the Pic Fed Board every day, and shows get listed further apart each time... I'd prefer to watch a small episodes of any show on a more regular basis than have to wait forever for new stuff...

Grab a ring, grab the figs, take your camera and shoot some stories, even if they're just self contained, not even an ongoing federation involved...

How about a E-Hollywood Story style episode on any of your favorite figs or something? How about a Pic Fed spinning off a whacky Lost or Heroes concept?

Make a search for "action figure comics" and take a look of some stuff other people away from the wrestling world are doing wiith their figs... Yeah, this is about wrestling, but it's also about the figures, some peeps are forgetting this...
