As you are all aware, 2011 has undisputedly been Ring of Poison's best year to date. We have held 6 major event from our home here in Reading, PA as well as 8 episodes of our cable televsion broadcast Poison TV. But as always circumstances can change and Ring of Poison today announces impending changes to our television schedule. Allow us to introduce to you...
Ring of Poison's PODCAST OF POISON will take the place of Poison TV for the forseeable future, effective immediately. The shorter broadcast, taking inspiration from other pic fed shows such as WWEF FALLOUT and TNA:REVOLUTION THE MAIN EVENT, will feature highlights of matches taped at special events, as well as the usual range of promos, interviews and backstage segments that you have experienced on Poison TV. The first edition of the Podcast of Poison will be online soon, as we begin to build toward our next main event, "Teeth Like God's Shoeshine"!
(Not the kayfabe reasons: I'm starting back at uni in 3-4 weeks, and I've got a whole load of poop on between now and then so I don't really have time to film Poison TV eps as well as my main shows, so I've had to compromise in order to get everything I want for ROP in 2011 done. I'm still doing my main shows as full matches, and I think this might actually help to improve their quality. Let me know what you guys think about it, and even if you don't like the idea, just give it some time. Look at what DJ was able to do with TNA:R and Fallout using the highlight format, still very complete and enjoyable shows. Love, Mikey x)
