hey gonzo I have a few more things on my work bench I'm trying to clear out. If I have anything closer to the deadline I'll save it for the competition and just send you the photos.

Just a reminder, the next competition is March 30, due by 8pm CST. Hopefully this time I will have the show up in a timely manner. Stips are open to any wrestler or create your own wrestler. Anybody is welcome to compete. I will try to get matches posted a week out.
If anybody has a figure that they think will be done by then, rather than posting on the board, submit to me and have it be part of the competitions. It's all in fun, if you win, you win, if you lose you lose.
Thanks!

I picked up an old cheap Jakks Goldust figure, but there's some pretty serious skuffing on the nose. Does anyone have any tips/paint suggestions for a relatively seamless repair?

Is it the old BCA or is it one from the classic lines? I'd use a little sand paper and sand the scuffing smooth, then repaint with gold or black or both if necessary. Acrylic Craft paints.

It's from the Classic line, the one with the robe. I've been trying to match the gold color, but I'm pretty sure I should just use black. I haven't seen a gold that will work, and he has had a black nose plenty of times.

What's up fellas? The new John Cena figures have a new short mold and I was wondering can you switch the lower part of his legs with a different figure? Kicker-boots for example. Any help would be welcomed. Thanks

Any help would be welcomed. Thanks I haven't bought the new Cena, so I can't say for certain, but I did spend a good long time looking at it, deciding if I should buy it. Unlike other figures, the knee joint is flat, since it's the bottom of the kneepad, which is molded, unlike on other figures, where the knee is the joint. So it looks like you could switch them out and the boot will be touching the kneepad. Kane style boots should fit. Regular boots would shorten the figure, and I'm unsure if they're wide enough, or if they'd look weird. I guess kickpads would fall under the same category as the Kane boots.

I was wondering, what other basic Mattel figures besides Del Rio. Have the white basic boots? I'm making a basic Kerry Von Erich in his blue attire, and I was wondering what figure I need to buy to get the boots I'm looking for.
