The turnout for every custom competition we've had thus far has been pretty poor. And I admit that my last entry was pretty lame, but what the hell - I'm in.

Hey Masked I feel you I competed in the last 2 and thought the same thing but what the hell I like the effort and competition.
The Champ Is Here can't wait to see what you got stored for this, you have some pretty solid customs and the Goldberg you did was awesome I liked the full skin tone you did.
At this point I would love to see everybody keep submitting work and joining these tournaments they help keep the customs board alive as far as competitiveness.
Also Gonzo, if your running behind on holding the tournaments or whatever the case may be think of an alternate or say submit customs to me and the Customs MOD let the tournament just roll that way. Its all just a suggestion geared to keep new customizers coming and old customizers coming back to judge or compete. We new customizers need helpfull feedback not crap from Angus who just disrespects the new breed.

I know I havent been as helpful with these tournaments either (I believe I was meant to judge the first one) however time just got away from me and I apologize for that.
However I was thinking of ways to make this board more eventful, and was thinking of doing a weekly showcase of all the pictures of a certain customizers I have come to find over the years.
Such as Rome, Famous J, Jay, Rozz etc (which is like 100 pics each).
And hopefully this would make some difference to the traffic on this board.
what do you guys think

Thanks for the compliments man I meant to reply about your doink, it was good, the lines just need a little work, something that I do is go back the the outer color, in the case of doink, yellow, and smooth out the lines with that, then go back and touch up with the red...also, getting a very thin brush helps...I have a 10/0 I think, it's wonderful for getting lines straight. |

I've not yet posted my first custom but have a few in progress. Can I be in? Sure, anybody that wishes to compete is more than welcome. Usually I try to pit skill lvl vs skill lvl with Cruiser, IC, and HWT divisions. Although recently we've only have 4-5 people turning in each event, which happens to be the same 4-5 everytime. I'd love to see some HWT's step back up and get invovled. We have loads of talent on this board, and many of the talented post frequently, but seem to have no interest in doing the competitions. If some of you guys can hold off posting a figure as soon as it's completed and submit it to the competitions, we'd have a good mix of people. It really should be a time to focus your skills and give your best. The competitions are traditionally what helped drive the creativity and skills of many people on this board. Step outside of your comfort zone and try something original or more difficult than normal. Paint a full skin tone, sculpt some hair. Chop, mix and match parts, make a posed custom, turn the ordinary into extraordinary. You are the puppet master, let your creative juices flow and show the world(or board) your best! |

I have an idea for an Undertaker custom. I don't have the parts and I've never cracked a torso, so I wouldn't be able to do it anyway, but I'd love to see somebody else try.
We all know that Undertaker is NOWHERE NEAR as thin as his Elite torso. I was thinking that the Elite 4 Finlay torso might be a better torso to use on Undertaker to make him look a little thicker in the torso.
If anybody could put an Elite 4 Finlay torso on an Elite Undertaker body and post a picture, I would really appreciate it.

Just to clarify again, the stips for the competitions are now open to any wrestler or create your own wrestler. Basically.... make a wrestling custom, I don't care what style, just a wrestling custom.
