May 8, 2007 - Reports are coming from the New Age Wrestling offices that, the "little ref" has been fired. If you viewed Capitol Punishment, you could tell he was not present. He said due to the bad reviews of his performance he was protesting refering the PPV. A inside source has said he has seen former WWE Superstar Ron Simmons talking to owner Mr. Marshall and his assistant Vince McMahon about the empty postion. May 10, 2007 - According to a insider in the NAW offices, two of NAW's biggest signings have a special clause in their contract. In the contracts of Samoa Joe and Bret Hart there is a clause that states that they have a title shot lined up. With this rumor flying around the NAW locker room, the champion is not phased with the news. In a interview, Chris Benoit stated: "I'm the champion, I'm on top of the mountain, everyone is coming for my title. And I'm not going down without a fight, it doesn't matter who it is, Joe or Hart I'm gonna make them tap and retain my World Heavyweight title"

Word backstage that after the controversial finish in the fatal 4 way at Domination 5, Samoa Joe is upset. He would have wanted a clean finish but will accept the triple threat at Doomsday

Despite his loss to Sabin, Kid Kash may still get a contract in NAW
