Wrestlemania Ring Carts
The ring carts did appear at WrestleMania III and VI was reason they were used? and would anyone like them see to return at any WWE PPVs?

I kind of think they are lame. I have heard the reason they were introduced was because of the size of the stadium for WM3. They wanted the superstars on platforms so the audience could see them make their entrances and so they would get to the ring in a safe and timely manner. Andre had issues walking and climbing following his back surgery so they were an aid to him at least.

I liked the Wrestlemania carts. I'm sure they were an asset to the wrestlers not having to walk down the long aisles and those that did, Piper and Hogan, it set them apart.
Now with so many Wrestlemania's being at huge stadiums and the wrestlers walking down the aisle the carts wouldn't be necessary as they've been doing without them for years.
What I wonder if about the platform the ring was on. I suppose the ring was raised because of the cart so the wrestlers step off the cart and on to the platform but the Big Event had a platform to raise the ring and there were no carts. Wrestlemania 8 also had the platform with no carts.

They were strange, was it just wm 3 and 6 i think. I heard they were used at these two events because if wrestlers walked down the aisle it would of added an extra three hours to the show!

I actually thought that they were cool. I wouldn't mind seeing them again at another WM.

I loved them, but I doubt we'll see them again. With the giant stages, even when stadiums are the same size, the walk isn't as far.

I read a while ago that they were used because Andre couldn't or wouldn't walk to the ring.

It was cool back then, but entrances are different now - most guys have unique ones and I think the carts will defeat their purpose.
